These restaurants are expensive, you should get more food for your money, not many to go boxes for breakfast meals. I over eat like people do, but getting your money's worth, makes you feel better about what meals cost.
Food looks kind of meh for the price. Might be fun to take little kids for the chicken show. But unfortunately, looks like your typical tourist trap with mediocre selection of food.
@@chellagirl3664 I’ve found that to be true as well. Love Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but the restaurants have too many tourists to keep up with quality. It’s a shame because the atmosphere for a lot of them is great. The food however…not so much.
Dawn’s perfectly cooked over easy eggs were begging for some toast with just the right amount of butter. Some ketchup would have livened-up those potatoes. Watching this made me want breakfast for dinner.
We took our Granddaughter there about 3 yrs ago, when she was 3, & what fun she had. The food was great & we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Sad to see how "downhill" it seems to have become.
looked like a fun place to take the grandkids but seemed a bit over priced. Dawn's plate seemed a bit skimpy for $12.99 in my humble opinion. thanks for the review.... great video guys. love your channel 🙂
My husband and I ate at the Frizzle Chicken before Covid. It was Amazing!! Best breakfast there, so we took our Daughter and 3 grandkids there for breakfast during spring break and it was Very Disappointing. Haven’t been back since
Based on your very first review, I had to take our family here for breakfast last fall on our very first visit to Pigeon Forge. The singing chickens were a hoot, they even sang the Bohemian Rhapsody and my grand daughter's favorite,Let it Go! Breakfast was okay, we had to wait a while before being seated as they were busy. They serve cute bear pancakes for the kids. A nice stop before visiting the Island!

I would've loved some hot sauce on those potatoes. Looks like that place is more about the ambiance than the food. Probably great for kids, but adults better off going to The Old Mill. Great review! Oak Ridge Will was spot on with the Oom Poppa Mow Mows 😆
Cute and clever place. Prices to high! I would never pay. 11.00 for a grilled cheese. 😋 Dawn should have had toast. I think Dolly can afford to drop a few bucks off those prices, especially for families.....just saying 🤔....Belgium waffle 🧇 yum

When I visited in May I got the omelette, and it was the one of best omelettes I have ever had. I agree, Dawn's meal looks like is should have had some toast with it.

At 2:25, you can see the menu clearly states that Dawn's meal "The Whole Breakfast", as that is what Will originally pointed out, comes with what was on her plate (two eggs, potatoes, and choice of meat) PLUS choice of 1 of the 4 items above. A waffle was one of those choices. This can be seen on the receipt as there was no charge. When you combine the waffle, eggs, meat and potatoes together, the cost is much better than originally perceived.
We went to Frizzle Chicken last year because of your recommendation. We loved it. It was so fun. The food was good and the chickens were very entertaining. I took a video of each of the chickens.
On one visit there my favorite song they sang was Rocky Top. Such a cute place to go. Always stop there at least once thanks to one of your reviews two or three years ago..
We have always loved going to Frizzle Chicken. The atmosphere is the best. However, since opening back up full force after COVID, the food quality has really gone down. I don’t even think we went the last time we were up. 😢
We have been there one time and loved it! I agree with the food review. I think grandmothers kitchen out on wears valley Road is very comparable. We love going there as well. Looking forward to the car show today!
Gosh, that menu has really shrunk! We were there about 3-4 yrs ago and their menu was huge! Wasn’t a big fan of the place, though. Thanks for taking us along! Blessings 🙏
I thought sales tax was 10%? Yet your bill was $32.96 and tax was $3.54 which isn't 10% but is 10.075%...Do they add the extra .075% as gratuity? If so, does your receipt tell you that? Or does Pigeon Forge have higher taxes? Just seems wrong

I never understood why you don't get toast or biscuit with breakfast, if your meal has pancakes, waffle or French toast, most restaurants do this, Cracker Barrel does, I always tell them to bring me a biscuit.
