Cops kill kids with warning shots..." He mentions Reagan when he was president but you could put any president's name in there. Ice T is a straight OG and my favorite rapper of all time.

I knew this one suburbs dude that listened to Pac and Master P decided he needed to come to the hood and become a statistic , part of the problem. He was fully subscribed. This is why I’m not surprised when our people decide to join a particular group, one way or the other. Some people feel the need to join a group and become a part of something. Others sit back and watch whats going on and build from there. Gangs started as a way for neighborhoods to protect each other. It grew into a group we don’t want around us. It’s a bigger conversation to have; I’ll leave it at that.

Artists on the east coast made a song called self destruction, rappers came together to syop the violnce and black on black crime. Then the next years artists on the west coast did the smae thing to stop gang violence. Its was beautiful and meaningful and actually good songs too, and some of the biggest and best rappers were a part of it. It was awesome DJ Jazzy Jeff and the fresh prince won the first grammy awarded to a hiphop artists, they led a boycott of the grammys that year because the grammys tried to sweep thst award under the rug and wouksnt let it be given out on TV, they saw that as possibly racist consodering the Heavy Metal award was also added that year and it was going to be given out on tv.
