Ashes in your mouth is a f*cking PROBLEM! You can't Havre that knocking on your ear buds or headphones 🎧 when you're in the gym tho bro, lol. Cause you'll stay wylin' out lol
The lead singer/guitarist was the lead guitarist in Metallica. They kicked him out right before they recorded their first album. He started this band to get back at them. When Metallica's first album came out Dave Mustaine bought it and was pissed because the music he wrote was on their album. They have since all made up, but there was nothing but animosity for over a decade between the two bands.
Dave had that long ass bus ride all the way from NY to San Fran, nothing but time to sit and contemplate, get over feeling sorry for himself; he found a religious brochure on the bus floor, had an article about "Megadeath", what happens if planet Earth ends up in an all-out nuclear war, and it resonated with him.
. just with the anger of riding home on the greyhound after being booted from the band. he got home and formed one of the greatest metal bands of all time almost over night. try and imagine how angry you gotta be to go from being a slacker who can't be bothered to show up for band practice on time to doing all that within a few months haha
@@JoshCMinecraft, on this song, it was all Marty, but Dave has a solo in pretty much every song from this album on back; and still has many from Countdown and Youthanasia.
2nd lead guitarist on this album is Marty Friedman, who said he wanted to audition for Megadeth, Dave heard Marty's solo material and said "Why in the hell does this guy want to play with us? This dude is above my guitar playing caliber" which is one of the few times I've heard Mustaine express humility.
Megadeth- She Wolf Rude Awakening live 2001 is a must. To listen to a song is one thing but to see them live it’s another thing. I’m sure most Megadeth fans will agree fhat She Wolf Rude Awakening Live is a must reaction video for Megadeth. Make sure it’s the rude awakening live version not the studio version 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I think it is, literally, the greatest standalone piece of guitar music I've ever heard. Honestly. Marty Friedman's solo in this song should be national anthem of every country if they're worth a damn. lol
Pantera - Cemetery Gates. Do the album version. The official video cuts out the first guitar solo. Or Floods. (RIP) Dimebag Darrell & Vinnie Paul. Dime had this thing that when he got drunk he'd play and record. Then when sober he would go back and listen to the tapes and try to recreate what he laid down.
I heard he tried this solo forever, couldn't get anything good. Went in to the studio by himself, absolutely shitfaced, and nailed this in one shot. I hope that's true...sounds like Dime
Out of the "Big 4", Megadeth is my favorite, & has been since this dropped back in 1990. Rust in peace still hold up as one of the best metal albums, of all time. Point blank period
the variety in the big 4 is pretty vast really. Slayer and Anthrax are a world apart. But Slayer and Deth top the list for me. Exodus and Kreator are up there for me too
Looking Down the Cross, The Skull Beneath the Skin, Hangar 18, The Conjuring and Five Magics, this is a short list of songs from Megadeth that you need to listen if you like the guitar solos
As a white "metalhead" living in the "projects" of Finland it's cool to see people from all kinds of backgrounds explore different genres of music. I personally got some of my greatest friendships IRL and online sharing new music with people. What I meant to say with this rambling was that you guys def earned a sub. Keep the work ratio up 🤘🏿
Roth is such a good guitar player that when he walks into the room his guitar solos itself... Scorpions - Sails Of Charon - Musikladen TV (16.01.1978) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Zs5NOrYYV2s.html
Do not forget to react to Jinjer please. “Perennial" (Live At Wacken) will show you what they can do in front of a large audience. Those who see it usually crushes on it.
if you like guitar solos hanger 18 is your hook up. that song is like 70% melt your face blistering guitar solos. they were trying to make a statement with that song. enjoy.

If you guys like solo's and pure back and forth energy. PLEASE check out Fade to Black by Metallica LIVE in Moscow 1991. First, over 1 million people in the crowd...second this was when Metallica was at their absolute peak and the ending solo (last 2.5 minutes) literally takes you to a different place.
Judas Priests- Victim of Changes is groovy metal songs with one of the best Metal Singers of all time "Rob Halford". Love the channel, keep up the great work!!
If you want to hear the roots of the man who played this solo (Marty Freidman) then look up Cacaophony. It's a band he formed with Jason Becker that lasted until '89 when they split up. He went to Megadeth, Jason did his own thing.
When that album dropped in 1991, it was a new benchmark for thrash metal, Dave mustaines and Marty Friedmans guitar solos are just perfection, and Nick menza's (R.I.P)drumming is tight.
Ahhh yes Megadeth, I wish I could have seen them back in the day when Marty Friedman and Nick Menza (R.I.P) was with them, THE classic and ultimate lineup imo. More Megadeth videos and non video songs, if you're interested ....Wake Up Dead, Anarchy In The U.K, In My Darkest Hour, Hanger 18, Symphony Of Destruction, Sweating Bullets, This Was My Life
I’ve been listening to Megadeth since I was a teenager in the Eightees. I’m 53 now and still catch something I didn’t hear before in Dave’s amazing guitar work. I Love Metallica also and Kirk Hammet, but I have to admit Dave is in his own awesome league totally in another different level. He wasn’t meant to be in Metallica because he’s to freakin AWSOME!!!🤘🤘🤘
So many songs ex Metallica guitarist becomes worldwide fan fare. Sweating Bullets Holy Wars Sympathy of destruction Peace sells but who's buying He's a now Born Again reaching out to his Metallica peers and other friends in the Metal World.
I saw your reaction to Chris Stapleton. So I wondered if your interested in listening to some Classic Southern Rock if so . I'd suggest "Creedence Clearwater Revival - Have You Ever Heard The Rain (Official)." I really enjoyed watching your reaction to his cover song of James Brown's song This is a Man's World. If you decide to give this a listen, I look forward to hearing what you think. Take Care and I'll Catch Ya Later
Bro, if you're really into great guitars, you need to check or King Diamond. Their first 4 albums were the best(in my opinion). But in King Diamond they specialize in great solos, & their riffs are legendary, & unlike in many other bands where they forget about the other band members, in KD every member is just as important as the other 4 guys. You had the twin lead guitars of Michael Denner & Andy LaRocque trading of solos & murdering everything in sight like they were put on merc patrol. Then you had the late, great Timi "Grabber" Hansen on bass delivering nothing but just, constant, low, bottom-end, thunderous baselines like he was just GIVING a f*CK! Then you had Mikkey Dee & his legendary drum acrobatics, topped of w/King Diamond's blood curdling shrieks! Song suggestion(s) while I should you w/anything from those first 4 albums[Fatal Portrait, Abigail, Them, & Conspiracy] I've gotta go w/ A Mansion in Darkness, & of course my favorite, THE INVISIBLE GUESTS!!!!!!!! #TheInvisibleGuests
SO MANY GREAT Megadeth songs: The Right to Go Insane, Liar, This Day We Fight, Deadly Nightshade, Symphony of Destruction, Dystopia, etc.. etc.. etc.. The best part of Megadeth is the music AND the lyrics. Read them.
No question this it their best album IMHO, and of course Holy Wars you need to hear.... but I put my dog to sleep yesterday morning, and the first line of the song is "This morning I made the call, the one that ends it all" is a relationship statement, but extremely literal for me today. Not trying to be a downer. I recommend Holy Wars official vid.
If you wanna hear a lady throw down, check out Evanescence, Amy can Sing too many great songs to ignore, but I suggest, Perfect Imperfection. Troy from Alantic City 🌆
