Hi Nezza my tip if you come to italy you should know that every region is VERY MUCH different from each other so make sure to eat the typical food of the region for example if you want a good pizza eat it in Naples (Campania) research the typical food and you’ll have the best experience possible❤

If you and Franny go to Italy, I would recommend Capri and Positano (Islands of the coast of Naples) for more touristy areas. But if you want something more local and chill I would go to Puglia or Ischia. Ischia especially! They have this water resort/park with these natural springs. It's called Negombo. They have these really cool hydrothermal park with grottos and waterfall pools! The also have regular pools, a spa, restaurants, and it's right in front of the beach too. It's a really cool resort and perfect for a relaxing day. You can take a ferry from Naples to Ischia. Paestum is also a very beautiful little town south of Naples with some ancient ruins if you don't end up going to Rome.
