In the beginning he was very insecure, but he started the whole World wide handsome thing and many ARMYS have said how much these albuns helped them. And self love is not something you can do from day to night, but it’s an everyday exercise, let’s not be so hard on ourselves 💜

Jin is my bias because I personally admire his mindset. Jin joined BTS with zero experience in singing or dancing. Not only that, but his team members were exceptionally talented. Imagine the uphill battle!Most people will cower, realize they are over their head and quit! Instead, Jin decided to wake up hours earlier than anyone else and worked his ass off to keep up (they already practice 10+ hours a day!) That level of hardwork and dedication is the epitome of BTS! Not only that, but as the oldest, Jin could have used his age to leverage power (age hierarchy is a big deal in Korea), but instead, he humbled himself for the sake of the team. Instead of using his status as the oldest to push his teammates around, he lowered himself down and only jokingly teased about the power he wielded. BTS would not be where they are now if RM wasn't the leader and Jin was humble enough to allow that to happen! BTS is not the best because of their singing and dancing. They are the best, because they are exceptional human beings!
Why do I feel like that completely changed their impression of Jin-in a very positive way? 😅 While it's truly disappointing that Jin is often barely noticeable in group songs, as he usually gets the fewest lines and minimal screentime, I'm glad there are fancams of him performing his solo songs in big stadiums that can show his exceptional talent. This is why I'm so excited for his first album, he'll finally have the chance to fully show the world how incredibly talented he is!
I once saw a YT reactor who said he was once in a concert of BTS during this era (dk whether it was this one or in Korea),& when Jin sang, he said he felt goosebumps. The audience was just in awe & he said this performance was the most powerful in the stage. His voice was powerful that he felt emotional. Imagine this description & from someone who experienced it. I felt jealous lol And Jin wasn't even his bias and he felt the impact 🥹 I also saw a review that Jin is just commanding the stage here. He isn't even dancing! I’m ARMY since 2015 and a 65 year old Grandma, JIN has been my bias since day 1 why because so many people said he can’t dance or sing, me stop comparing him to Jimin or JHope or Jungkook. For someone who didn’t have ANY training in either of these areas he is great.
This song literally saved my life. I was trapped in the worst depression of my life and couldn't get out. I came across this song, and it was it was a true Epiphany. As a Jin bias, I love it when I see reactors who found a new perspective of Jin. 👏 I've watched a YT reactor describe this Jin's stage as the most powerful performance at the concert for him. Jin isn't even his bias. He said when Jin sang, the audience got silent & was just listening to him. He felt goosebumps & said his voice was just powerful & booming in the stadium & felt very emotional 🥹 From Throga channel too, they said Jin was just commanding the stage w/ his voice & presence. He wasn't even dancing & just standing there! Even they felt that thru the screen 😂 That's why he's Silver Voice for a reason. But most importantly, his personality. See, I've seen many, who overlooked him at the beginning but as they watch more BTS content, I noticed they look/notice Jin more. They gravitate towards him as Gucci creative director describe it, his personality is truly magnetic. I like that more people are now discovering more of Jin 💜
No one notices Jin in most albums, but he is the one who uses his voice the most in the background. He is the best visual and silver voice. His angelic voice, with even the tiniest voice like Jimin, brings me to myself. My prince has a very different atmosphere💜😍😍

Jin bias here! He's so underrated and funny, but every now and then he lets us in, and he becomes even more relatable. This was in mid summer near the end of this tour, so it didn't get dark. I saw it in spring at the Rose Bowl and it was dark out when he performed it.. It was very emotional, and I think the drama of night added to the entire show.
Jin is nicknamed “BELTING KING” and is a lyrical tenor within BTS who can reach the highest notes and has a wide vocal range. Despite starting out without knowing how to sing, he worked hard and is a clear example that it can be done. Critics say that Jin’s voice goes well with ballads and rock ballads, where you can appreciate how warm his voice is and the high notes he can carry.💜

I love the entire vocal line, and I've observed all of them for a long time. Jin is like a secret weapon. He has an incredibly stable voice when singing live. He blends well with the other members, but he can also go into a full belt- sometimes in falsetto- reminiscent of a Broadway star. Kind of awesome for someone who didn't pick up singing until his late teens/early 20s.
Jin is such a genuine person. What you see is what you get and I think that's why so many love him. Everything about him is so relatable that you can feel a connection with him through empathy and understanding. He's so great! I also recommend "The Astronaut" with Cold Play. It's a great listen. When Jin sings he seems to be telling a story, the emotion in the song reaches the listener, it always touches the heart. I fell in love when I heard this song, Epiphany is a masterpiece
Jin's vocals truly are beautiful. I often also wonder if he uses some of his acting training when he sings too since his actual vocals has a lot of drama and theatrical qualities in it to me. I love how much that seems to add extra emotion and colour to his performances. He also has some OSTs ('Yours' and 'It's Definitely You') where that vocal drama adds to the perfect OST vibe. Jin considers himself to be a sort of mood maker. He doesn't always like to show his negative feelings publicly because he doesn't like the idea of burdening others (even though BTS and ARMY would never view his feelings in that way), so he tends to focus on making others happy as that makes him happy too. But his music is where he seems to channel and work through his darker thoughts, insecurities, fears and struggles as well as his joys and loves too. Most of his songs don't have MVs and live performances, but if you could get your hands on some lyric videos, you won't be disappointed. He tends to speak on personal things whether it be his journey to loving himself (Epiphany), grieving the death of his pets (Tonight), or sharing his love for ARMY one last time before enlistment and showing us in the MV that he'll return to us one day and he trusts that we'll be there waiting for him...which we were (The Astronaut - the most recent song release). There's a live performance of The Astronaut that he performed at the Coldplay concert since Coldplay worked with him to create the song. If you react to it, I'd suggest that you also look for the clip of Chris Martin talking before the performance. It adds to the tone of the song and the on-stage chemistry that they've built and their friendship despite their language barrier. Coldplay has been big supporters of Jin even while he was serving. They'd perform his song and carry his plushie toy he designed around on their tour and wear his merch and shout him out. It's been super wholesome. Their song with BTS (My Universe) is also really great too.

Kim Seokjin, AKA Jin, also famously known for being a manner idol, his genuineness and his inspiring beautiful words/quotes like: "only you need to know how hard you work" and always wanting to mostly live in the present moment and being happy 🥹 Also his song "Awake" is almost as emotional. Maybe you already know this by now, but Seokjin has a degree in acting so when he was asked to join BTS/audition he had to learn everything from scratch. This was not really the case for the other members (except Taehyung/V), they all had some background in either dance, singing or rap. So Seokjin always felt a bit insecure being in an idol group surrounded by individuals who already had experience with one or more of the 3ost important components. So he always felt "lacking" in some sense because he hadn't any experience with singing and dancing. And with the company focusing on the other members, many also noticed that he mostly gets/got positions in the back for choreos, less lines etc. On the one hand a bit understandable for like the first 2 years or so because he has to feel comfortable and much to learn. But man after many years proving himself this should have changed.. But unfortunately it didn't , the company treating him the same way (until Butter era). And the above is also the main reason why unfortunately many have the same reaction of "I didn't notice Jin" until they see him solo or like in variety shows where he has the chance to shine. And this absolutely doesn't help either with feelings of insecurity. That's also the main reason why during Dyamite's success he felt that it wasn't really his succes and this lead him even to have a burnout unfortunately. If you rewatvh the interviews during Dynamite era he's so quite and less "chirpy" even though many did not notice as he alqays mentioned that he doesn't like to share anything "negative" with ARMY (BTS' fandom name). But luckily he seems to have gotten over that now mostly and especially after his military discharge, he seems even more comfortable and confident in his own ski 🥹🥹🥹🥹 Can't wait to see what he has planned for us for his debut album (probably in sep or oct.) 🔥🔥
Good reaction playbackboyz Jin went through a period of profound insecurity ( see his solo “awake”) and epiphany is the result of his journey… Jin joined big hit as trainee at the age of 19 having never sung or danced previously… especially for the dancers amongst you guys you can appreciate the challenges he faced… and his training as an actor at one of koreas top universities meant his postural training ran completely contrary to open style choreography … outside the 14-16 per day practices he would practice on his own… never gave up but felt his shortcomings… the result is his stable and emotive live voice…. 💜🇨🇦
thank you for appreciating Jin. what Kev said about not noticing Jin when it's an OT7 applies to other people as well. sadly it's because he has been given less lines in the group esp during the earlier years. at least, more lines are given to him starting with Butter area. but Jin is one with a strong vocals, wide range and very good vocal technique. he can easily shift from different types - chest, mix, falsetto, belting, etc. I suggest you watch his live performance of Awake in Japan where he received applause and standing ovation, also his live performances of The Astronaut and Moon at his Jin Festa event which was the day after he got discharged from the military. He wanted to perform for army (BTS fandom) right after leaving the military.
7:02 Jin is actually the glue that hold them together i would say, even though he is not the leader, him being the eldest has its privileges such as the members look for him for advice, he is the one organizing when the Leader is doing other stuff. He NEVER MISSES A SINGLE STEP dance-wise. Jin is the least member likely to miss a step while on stage. He practices a lot, he learned to sing from scratch at 20 years old. His Masters have helped him with the storytelling around bts´s discography, acting as the visual of BTS. JIN is a key point in bts. And i am telling this as a Jungkook bias btw. JIN is everything for us. And with THAT facecard? yeah no, he cant NEVER go unnnoticed. EVER.

I remember being so emotional, so emotional when the mv for Epiphany dropped and i got to watch it and also read the lyrics at the same time. Till date, it is one of the most beautiful songs i have ever heard in my entire life. I didn't even realise the tear drops slowly pouring down my cheeks because i got lost into the mv. I started to think about my life journey and how unhappy and unappreciative i had been to myself, esp for not being even a tad bit better than others. It left a very deep impact on me and I couldn't help but to go out that day and treat myself a good meal. I remember feeling very happy after I finished an entire bowl of soup noodles. This is one of the few examples of how our boys have helped me during the times i was feeling low and was in a dark place mentally. This is the reason why i respect BTS so much. They are more than just a boy band. They are my dopamine booster, and my friends that i can seek good advice from. Thanku for reacting to Epiphany. This means alot to us Armys❤

From 2020 until now I have been a fan of BTS, after I listened to their music I have learned to love and respect myself fully. Every song that they make, symbolizes ourselves. BTS is not just an idol group, they are teachers who teach us how to love ourselves unconditionally. Epiphany is the song that got me to BTS. My kids have been listening to BTS for quite sometimes but I never pay attention until I heard epiphany. For me, Jin has the sweetest voice. Can't wait for his solo album ☺. Looking forward for the astronaut reaction😁. Great reaction as always! 💜

I am having a field day reading these comments. I love seeing people appreciate Jin . He is an awesome person and I love the messages he passes across in his lyrics, it feels so Jin . He’s a very genuine and positive person, even though he def has his own insecurities too. He’s genuinely happy when people are happy . I love Jin and I love Jin stans a lot ( Caleb, thanks for being a Seokjinnie and the orange guy, you seem like you would be one soon ) . It’s very easy for him to be overlooked but when people get to do so, you find yourself drowning so much in his charm . This is probably one of my fave reactions of yours so far (not just as Jin is my bias) it made me kinda sad when you guys watched the guide as you didn't have much to say about Jin, but I'm glad you are seeing him now, and don't forget, he signed up to bighit with no singing experience, so has come such a long way, and to put out this message about learning to love and accept yourself, flaws and all, just so beautiful. when you think about it, what other artist after you listen to their song make you think that deep and spend almost 10 minutes reflecting on yourself and others, for me only BTS does that.
