The time has come! We are travelling over 150 miles in a half finished campervan!!! Are we mad? It's the school holidays and the only time Cheryl can take leave so we are desperate to travel....it has been so long! So we're taking the unfinished van for a shake down trip to North Wales with our travelling companions in their Pilote.
Was the self build the right decision? Have we got everything where we need it? Is there anything that needs changing?

Great to see all your hard work and effort culminate into a week away trying to see if everything works, well done to both of you. I am about to take early retirement, on a budget I might add, and am thinking along the same lines of converting a smaller van, possibly an NV200 for trips away for my wife and I, really took a lot of inspiration from you build. Thanks for sharing guys.

We were very lucky. We'd planned to go to the Mach Loop later in the trip but the weather was not good enough for much action.

@pitched_up_wanderers I was working in Aberystwyth a few weeks ago and saw a couple of F35s come over .First time seeing them in the flesh .

you were very near the Mach loop, its a couple of rings that jets use for training, you can stand on the tops of some of the hills and have the jets going through the valley below you

We did see some planes, and the others continued on and went to the loop for the day. Will go back at some point to do it, but we had to get back home for work.👎

Nice vlog guys, I’m almost at the same point as you, van just a little ove half way done but wanting to get out in it and test it all out. What were you cooking on, I saw a gas regulator, but as you filmed it from above I couldn’t make out if it were a single burner with a wok, or if it was something else. Looking forward to the next vlog.

hi just a quick hello and to say i'm quite surprised you didn't set up camp on the other campsite which is situated right next to Lake Bala which has nicer views, also BALA is pronounced the way it's spelt and not pronounced as if it has the letter R in it, as the way you pronounced it it sounded like BARLA
