I love how the trucks look like they are flying on the high mesh bridges. Looks like a great time was had. I hope to make it down that way next year. See you then.
Looks like you all had a great trip! Really like your camper. We were only at BTC on Saturday but managed to do trails 1,4 and 5. The barn is both the most rewarding and stressful course but I loved it. My son's rig fell off the top level outside and we had to replace an axle and fix the body but we still really enjoyed it. Hope to see you all there in October!
Overal, which did better, the sport or the defender? Sorry to see the blow out but glad everyone was okay and that it didn't ruin the trip. It's all part of the experience, right? :)
@@shawnls1 Did you have any brass in either truck? I apologize if you covered this in the video, I watch so many trying to determine which would be best for us. I love that you two did this together.
I have brass in both but much more in the Sport as we do more crawling with the Sport vs the Defender. I've seen Defenders (with the Defender body) do well, but it takes a lot more weight and tuning to get it to perform even close to the Sport. I stumbled across this hobby by accident and the wife decided she wanted to play, so she went out and got her own truck. The rest is history. It's awesome to find hobbies you and your significant other can enjoy together. *Let me add - if you place a smaller body on the Defender, it's almost unstoppable.
