Our first year with an Old English Sheepdog puppy

This week we celebrated Bosley's first birthday. What a year it has been! Bosley gained 2 new sisters. He visited 5 states - Louisiana, Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and South Dakota. He had his first haircut. He attended training classes. We've gone on several hikes, brought trees inside, played chase and fetch, and romped in the snow outside. He had 2 eye surgeries to correct a condition called entropion and has since fully healed. We are now just waiting for his lustrous locks to grow back.

....i am sobbing...my sheepdog, locky passed away 4 yrs ago...i miss him so very much - this is the first that i've been able to even look at another one...locky loved camping, fishing, hiking, getting dirty, playing in the snow, sleeping on his back, etc...for the last 8 yrs of his life we fostered dogs for a rescue & he was the best foster brother...he was actually just the bestest boy...he was better behaved than most children...thank you for sharing bosley - he is great...i wish you many,many happy years together...

I am so sorry for your loss. Locky sounds like an amazing companion. Bosley is similar in that he loves hiking, camping, getting dirty, and playing in the snow. Thank you for watching and commenting. If you look at some of our camping videos, there’s more of Bosley. I believe he’s in our Mt Rushmore, Custer and Big Meadows videos. He is such a sweet puppy. I’m glad we could bring a little happiness by sharing him with you.

What a fun-loving boy living a great life with his sisters and human parents. I really enjoyed the video. It reminded me again of how much i miss my sweet girl Kita.

Wonderful video! Relaxing. I have never heard of entropion. I just looked it up. Interesting. I am glad he is better. Thanks for posting this. It was relaxing to watch after a stressful workday. It made my day. Happy belated birthday Bosley!

My mother is an OES breeder since about 97 and I’ve currently got 4 of them all females ranging in age from 14 weeks to 8 years old! The 3 are all related but this newest pup is from a different parents.

We've had 5 Old English Sheepdogs over the yrs. Now we have a 5 mo. old puppy, named Muffy. Like me husband says "THERE'S NOTHING LIKE A SHEEPDOG". LOVE THEM ALL!
