He's a fantastic little kid. But if I can throw out one piece of advice to his parents- start working now on strengthening your core and back, and learning proper lifting technique. I don't know a single parent of a disabled child who lived into their teens who doesn't have a destroyed back. My brother passed at the age of 10 and my mom's back is wreaked from years of juggling a large chair and a very large child (he was over 2 years ahead on growth and his wheelchairs tilted, which added a lot of weight, which did not help matters). Mom now even struggles to lift my wheelchair and it's much smaller and lighter (standard adult folding chair). (I mean, I also struggle with its weight, but as my body is shot, that's not so surprising, lol.)

He is SOOOO ADORABLE. Hope he continues being this happy for many years to come.
