I wouldn’t say Audi is falling. I just think their new audience are more mature.. ever since Mercedes sort of made their interiors the focus of their brand. Mercedes new audience have gotten a lot younger and Audi’s audience have gotten a bit older…

I'm not a huge F1 fan but enjoyed the F1 chat. If people don't like it, just skip forward. I feel Porsche get off very lightly with your GT3 recalls and diagnostic fee. If that was Mclaren, you'd go in hard on them.

Guys.... please please do your research before you start slagging off cars. If you don't know anything about the Mustang GTD, just don't talk about it. It is so annoying. There is so much different in that car from the regular Mustang and so much technology in it, it's like a different car. It will 100% rival the GT3 RS.

About the 992.2 GTS, did any of your friends or contacts - the happy few who have driven the car both on track and on roads - say anything about putting the PDK box in manual mode to induce a bit more of involvement in the driving ? Maybe that’s the way to drive the car (except on track maybe) when your not pottering along in traffic. 😎

I want to know where Tony's finding a 992 GT3 RS for 100k less than the Mustang GTD. I'm sure the 992.2 GT2 RS that's supposed to come out will be even more expensive, given that it's Porsche we're talking about.

You are right, Tony. All of the other drivers are too chummy and not willing to put Max to the sword. Max however, has no such reservations when the positions are reversed which is why he will keep beating them.

Guys, Mustang GTD is in a different league from GT3RS in terms of performance. To anyone who doesn't know, it is actually a beefed up version of a GT3 racing car. Yes, I said beefed up because it is using all the GT3 race car technology and components without GT3's racing rule restrictions. So other than the shell which is full carbon fiber, this barely got anything to do with a regular mustang. It's more for Ford's publicity than actually making money for them as it probably doesn't make much money even with this crazy price tag.

Btw this car is probably barely daily drivable as a result of that so Porsche fans plz don't get too serious about comparing this to GT3RS. This car is barely a road car for the consumer but more for Ford to destroy all the race track records for publicity. It will make this car very special among collectors though so I doubt we will ever see one on the public road ever.

Yes the Ford Mustang GTD. Rumored to be the result of Fords failed attempt at creating the Ford GT. Before they canned it and called in the Brits. They say this is what they came up with, jammed into a Mustang. People who have tested it say its a hyper aggressive, raced up car which, in order to be as fast as a Porsche GT3 on a track, is completely unliveable on the road.

I've known for a while that you're the type of guy who likes to drum up attention with your hot takes and silly opinions, but this really takes the cake. You clearly no longer have any qualms about just making stuff up now without any evidence to back what you're saying up. The Mustang GTD has nothing to do with the latest generation Ford GT. They are two entirely different cars that were developed at different times for different reasons. The only thing that they share is the manufacturer: Multimatic (who's a Canadian company, not British, by the way). As for the ride, I fail to see how it being overly firm is at all surprising. It's a track-oriented road car, just like the GT3 RS. It's going to be quite firm, and even if you could drive it to work every day, would you really want to? These types of cars don't tend to be great for road trips or daily use. That's just a reality people have to accept.

Seb Vettel didn’t seem to think he won by chance in fact he sent an Instagram post after the race saying “GOAT - congratulations Lewis” Even Hamilton’s biggest critic Helmut Marko said the following after the race; source: Sky Germany We can only congratulate him," Red Bull adviser Marko told Sky Germany. "Especially that he has held out so well during this dry spell. Here we saw his strength and greatness with his tyre management again. We had some slight graining and were hopeful, but he managed to get through it brilliantly. It shows what routine and speed he still has."

Lewis has been out qualified by Russell in an alarming number of occasions, and just won this race with a retired Russell. Calling lewis goat when even Nico Rosberg won a championship over him or Russell (who is no-one in terms of f1 history) is ahead is just ridiculous! Ferrari has made a tremendous error bringing him over.

So Lewis isn’t the goat because Rosberg won 1 championship and Russell has out qualified him this season? Lewis has won 7 championships, won 104 races, 199 podiums, and qualified on pole 104 times. Look at the current table - Russell and Lewis are neck and neck and George has lost himself the wins because he has inferior racecraft than Lewis. You rationale for denying Lewis as the goat is feeble.
