I noticed that your trailer ABS light keeps going off. Next time you stop at the truck stop. Look for pigtail shims/sure shim for the 7 wire connector. The package comes with two shims. One for the tuck side and one for the trailer side
Just a suggestion, when checking your seals use your phone and take a picture of the seals. I drive tanker and we have 2 to 3 seals and it’s easier to take a picture. Thanks for the video and stay safe!
I hated picking up coke and Budweiser they would always try to overload the trailer. I would look at the paperwork and could tell it was to heavy, and their attitude was you didn’t weigh it yet! It wasn’t my job to load the trailer, that was their job you would think after loading 1000s of trailers they would know exactly to the can how much they could put on! After the 6th time 3 times each of them playing games and overloading the trailer I told my dispatcher no more loads for me from Budweiser or coke!
Only at Jb hunt was the only company that didn't care if you damaged the trailer..I said something to the manager how a brand new trailer already had been hit and he said well they're so big sometimes it happens😂
When they give you the weight of the load, do they include the weight of the pallets? I was caught once when I picked up a load of frozen chickens, and I should have had enough "wiggle room" so I didn't weigh it. Stopped at a closed scale and weighed it and was over weight. I figured out that when the said they were shipping "X" pounds of chicken, that is what it was. That many pounds of chicken. They didn't include either the weight of the cartons or the weight of the pallets. I made it through without getting caught, but was a lesson learned. I really enjoy your channel. Keep the shinny side up and the dirty side down.
Enjoyed the video today. I like the way Kevin does things. He plans things and puts them into action. Ft dodge is just north of Ames Iowa. This where I was born and lived for seven years.
I haul 47k pounds regularly but I’m flatbed with spread axle trailer so I don’t have overweight issues but it’s hard to stop and go up and down the hill.
I’m a new subscriber to your channel and enjoy the content very much. I was wondering if it was possible and not against company regulations to explain the information Kevin inputs into his tablet when arriving and departures from companies, thank you very much!! Safe Travels!!
46,000 is a heavy load for a Big sleeper tractor and a 53 ft trailer. Depending on how much fuel ( that's why you got the message) and the type of trailer I have? I'm 34,500 empty. Our Hyundai trailers are heavier than the Wabash and Great Dane trailers we have.
Haha, 46K. I had one of those. I laughed, knew there was no way I could scale it legally with my Volvo. Was well over gross with that one. Anything over 44500 gets very tricky, my last heavy load was 44K, tight but good to go, bad to have the tandems all the way forward, figures! Whole trailer to balance the load out but they’ll always load it front heavy instead. Safe travels, got just a week to go before hometime!!! Been out 5 weeks already

Hi from the uk I know all about the nestle loads my company who I work for one of our main contracts is with them and we do all there goods from chocolate the water and there pet foods everything what nestle does
The right term is hostoler not yard dog same a someone building up rr trains iget the slang but I know that you are all about showing respect for the trade
🤔I guess I didn’t think ‘dogs’ was derogatory. We love dogs. And hostler sounds like hustler to my ears which I do think sounds derogatory. What else can we use? I’ve heard ‘yard goats’. Any other suggestion?
