12:24 is crazy how I can actually relate to most of your hs experience. I’m currently a senior in hs with a job trying to work as manny hours as possible and help my parents out, the struggle with money and school supplies right now is real. But just seeing how far y’all come in life and all the things yall had to encounter really gives me the hope and motivation to keep working to help my parents out and my self as well. And hopefully one day all this hard work my parents and me had to encounter pays off. Missed the podcast 🤍

I don’t smoke but i’ve been around addiction my whole life and I think that if no one taught you how to work with life stress/ anxiety it’s so easy to turn to dru*s because once you tried it one time you realize they make you feel good and your not in reality. It’s people with weak mindsets that don’t want to face their problems. I love getting deep I could talk on this foreverrr. But listening to your podcast feels like i’m in a class at times taking notes for my youtube channel. I want my videos to feel like jakes and look like nats 💖💖💖💖💖 Keep up the grinding we love youu!!!
@@almagodinez5599 Never belittle and they are valid, addiction is a disease. Making the decision of taking dru*s knowing you’ll forget all the problems of reality IS very weak of them. Someone with a strong/ healthy mindset would work through their issues and not run.

I’m sorry to say this but I think one reason why Jacob could think he’s boring is because majority of comments whether it’s on the podcast, jathaly or even his personal one are based on nathaly or his friends This is just my observation and I could definitely be wrong but I do think filming alone would help dissolve this problem Again, just my thoughts
A tip for motion sickness if you’re really nauseous you should bring some mint gum with you and chew it or smell some mint oil to help, it always works for me whenever I have really bad anxiety attacks so I’d recommend it

i agree with nathaly. i am also not changing my last name when i’m married. i think wanting the other person to take your last name is a machismo way of thinking about it (not to be taken offense, it’s common in men to have internalized machismo). i worked too hard to build my own “brand” and i would not want that to go to waste. when i get my doctorates degree it’s going to be Dr. Castro not anyone else.

I thought I was the only one how would had toe hole in my vans lol also I love this topic of different high school experience 🩷. I understand your frustration of not enjoying things that you had in front of you. But then I understand Jake point because I was in a sports and got enjoy the first 2 years of high school, but the last 2 years of high school were a living hell because I didn't have a good friend group around me. But my mindset back then was totally different and hated being alone and independent. I also have a question for Nat, I noticed you mentioned Edith in this podcast! Hi Nat, love your podcast and videos, they’re truly inspiring. just a little feedback on the podcast, try your best not to undermine Jake’s experiences and opinions. I think both of you have valid reasons to different things but i do notice that sometimes you try to change his view and perspective on things without validating his. For example, when he said he didn’t have a big support system.. or when he said that you should have fun in high school. be mindful that, maybe that’s just the way he feels. Even if you see it a different way. Sometimes we are not aware that we are undermining others feelings but once you notice it, you never go back
25:17 omg if u know a family member thats a disabled veteran, they can get u to the front of the line i swearr. you gotta reserve what rides you wanna go to but its so worth it, its like fast pass but for free. my dad did that for the whole group, hes not like visibly disabled, but like ptsd typa thing.

Im with nat on hearing people talk about smoking drinking cuz all my cousins do it and because of it, it has separated my family a lot because of it and it makes me so sad. I always say no matter what pain u went through in life that gives you no right to damage your health by intaking flavored air because theres other ways to heal pain or sadness
