Who else stumbled in here thanks to Pete? Somebody say Frog Legs! My summers were spent filling freezer with frog legs a few at a time. Bullfrogs from our pond up in the mountains of Poestenkill, NY. My favorite tool was a small barbed pitchfork on a medium sized handle hunting only from shore. Took me all summer to fill a freezer bag, but was always worth it. Y’all make a great team. Keep on it.

I lived in west central Louisiana for about 7 years. Some of the best times I ever had in my life were there. My buddy who is from Hawaii, married a Cajun girl from Lafayette, and they tell everyone that their kids are “Asian Cajuns”, lol. People who have never experienced fishing or hunting alone way back in the swamp, have no idea how peaceful it is to be totally isolated from the rest of the world. No noise, no traffic, no people, just the peaceful sounds of nature. Thank you for sharing your experiences on your channel.

I'm so glad y'all show the maintenance part of owning a houseboat. Most just show all the fun but there's a lot of hard work doing upkeep on these. Please do more shows showing what all is needed to keep a houseboat.

I live on a island ,called Fogo Island,on the east coast of Canada. Mostly people fish for a living here, but it's slowly dying. I love to visit the southern states. No B.S. Living Life! Lovin' Nature! I don't know a thing about Swamp life! But I know Back Woods life in the Appalachian Mountains. It's amazing 2 different Habitats Both so Beautiful. HillBilly's and Swamp folks have a lot in common.
