Hi @Emm23, like I don't understand like what you are like referring to, by asking like the question in like its not clear of what type of answer of like you would like me to like respond that could maybe like make you not offended. Like over 60 times said like in the 1st 7 minutes. However, to carry on an engaging conversation that would be flowing nicely in telling a story of past & present current relationships, it does not need to use "like" when the meaning is not used in the proper translation of describing & fluidly flowing through with story telling. ✌

I don’t think it is insane to fall in love that quickly! I knew my husband was the one the moment I saw him … hadn’t even exchanged a word, my brain said “that is the man you are going to marry” - we got together very quickly, and have been happily married for years. It doesn’t always happen, but it definitely does happen and those feelings are so real!

As someone who is divorced and a single mom of 4, who felt like relationships were hopeless and I “missed my chance”, it’s actually refreshing to know you didn’t just find your husbands immediately and it wasn’t a “happily ever after” from the second you met. (Although you were young) I wish I would’ve been young/waited. It’s actually nice to know it took dating others to know what you did or didn’t want, etc. and that Lo had a real “Jacob/edward” moment that truly took so much of your heart to sort out.

Thank you for sharing this! My hubby & I’s love story is actually pretty similar. Me being the confused one who couldn’t fully commit right away in between another relationship, and him being like Tanner…. It’s so tough and honestly I carried guilt for awhile! But we were young and also with what was going on with your mom, doesn’t make the situation any easier to feel secure with a decision at such a young age while feeling alone. My mom also was in a bad relationship (still is) and I do think it makes decisions like these even harder without the support from wise trust worthy parents or family/ good guidance. You two are beautiful and this imperfect story is so real and a true human experience 🤍🤍🤍 No one is perfect and I hope you don’t feel any shame sharing your love story. Thank you for sharing!

Oh my gosh, hearing about someone else's experience is so touching! I'm 17 and I sent my missionary off over the summer. He just barely hit 6 months and when she says it's a stage of depression it is. I was crying whenever I wasn't in public and I was talking to him as often as I could. We hit a rocky stage before we figured it out. We've been emailing on Mondays since. We've talked about marriage since we started dating and I have no doubt we'll get married soon after he comes home in 18 months. We met when I was a freshman and he was a junior. We dated my sophomore year and his senior. We were together for 9 months before he left and it was the happiest I've ever been when I was with him. I hope the next 18 months go by quick🤞 I'll graduate and he'll come home!😊but seriously! dating is so rough when going on dates isn't enjoyable because you wish it was someone else Love you guy's stories though!!!!!!

I belong to a different denomination of Christian church, but I think the mission time u guys experience is special. That time apart as u become full adults is important. It really helps so many people to make the right choice in life partner rather than the impulsive one. It’s gotta be really hard, but it seems to help keep the sanctity of marriage. There’s much less divorce bc of it.

Lo - I had a very similar experience when my fiancé and I started dating and I also have a hard time accepting the hurt that I caused and the way our relationship started. But I have also learned that a lot of married couples have very similar stories (my future mother-in-law being one of them). You aren’t a witch and you aren’t the only one! Thanks for being so vulnerable and honest about things you don’t necessarily feel proud of. About 2 hours ago I saw that you started your podcast, and I immediately clicked subscribe! I used to have such an aversion from “youtube families”, until I saw a video of Derek and Sarah. I instantly liked them. I didn’t know that there was another Beeston brother, so when I saw a video of Tanner, Lo and Ozzy I was SO confused. “Didn’t they have a boy? I’m sure they have boy, what’s going on here?”. Eventually I realized that Tanner & Derek are brothers and both have lovely wives and adorable children. You are so relatable, without all sorts of drama you usually see in family videos. I always dreamed about having kids, but unfortunately I can’t have them. Watching you and your children makes my heart happy. I like the name of the podcast so much, I used to watch Fairly Odd Parents all the time. I’m going to enjoy all the episodes of your podcast to catch up. ❤❤
