Reproductive technology is rapidly changing and the industry is fairly unregulated in the US. Every clinic has their own policies and one reproductive obgyn’s opinion on best practices or protocol will vary from the next, sometimes significantly. As someone who went through the process, I can say that it is not like other areas of health care. Women are told very different advice from one clinic to the next. There are many variables involved and sometimes you need to find a clinic willing to switch up your protocol at the risk of forsaking their own transfer success rates.

​@shannontrucks1708 even in other areas of care, sometimes a second opinion is the one you needed! I definitely dont think they're scamming like mindy mentioned some people suggested. However who knows if a different approach might prove more successful.

Oh no I’m sorry if I upset you. I tried to be very careful on how I worded that and followed it up with both of us saying we would have been just as happy and thankful to get pregnant by donor sperm but it didn’t work 3 times in a row and then that’s what pushed us into IVF and us having a biological child❤️ Never was I trying to say that a child by donor sperm or a child who is adopted is loved any different. My Dad was adopted by my Grandma and Grandpa and to me I don’t see them as adopted grandparents THEY ARE MY GRANDPARENTS. A baby who is longed for is loved no matter how they get here, biological, donor egg, donor sperm, adoption, IVF, IUI. I support it all! A child needs a loving home and there’s always a Mommy and Daddy out there longing for a child. ❤️💫

But he’s not Larry had a vasectomy they had a sperm donor
