I really can feel that. Something like that happen to me when I lived in NYC .I was getting off work I was a Train Operator was met with a group of hostile guys and thankfully a few co-workers step in and helped me.

Yes, it normally takes a little while to be at 100% and it's crazy that you happen to notice it. Haha yes, we are quite the calm and subdued couple but get a little rowdy every once in a while. Yes, he is definitely feeling much improved from the last time you all saw him. Yes, we really love them too and everything that they are doing to represent our community. I still don't understand people, I had a situation last month, at Publix, I have a man bag, as I call it, ( like many men) and this middle age guy came up to me while I was putting my groceries in the car, and said another one of those faggs! Loose in Davenport!! Needless to say there were words,and he took off. But it still was upsetting,and like Alec said it brings you back to the boy who was hurt earlier in life.. well just happy you are ok, and you both look so happy!! Love you much ❤️😚🥰

Hi Brian And Alec. Its me again, Christian Nicholette. Brain, its very good to hear that you were safe in that situation. And don't be so hard on yourself. ( Here is a joke to make you smile); I just had a debate about someone trying to tell me how to identify myself ; either as an African American, Biracial, Black or a Minority. If you're confused , I was just as confused as you are when someone said that to me. 🤦♀🤷♀It's normal to feel mad, upset, or confused. When someone does something to violate your identity, you might get angry. It's a natural response when our humanity is denied. I've learned that the easiest way to approach an unpleasant conversation is by starting with a question . When you hear someone use outdated or offensive language, follow your initial statement with a question like "What did you mean by that comment? or "What information are you basing that on?" Only if its safe for you to do so because I do understand that their are a lot of emotionally immature adults and reacting on impulse can be dangerous due to the unkind climate of the world that we live in today. Please protect yourself. And dude can kick rocks with an open toe shoe. 🙃
That is the part we were happiest about looking back at the situation, that Brian was safe. Unfortunately, people find the need or think it's their place to police other people. Thank you for reiterating that Brian's reaction was a normal and natural human response. He does feel much better about it now. We both took our time to process our feelings around the issue and discuss it at length before we decided to share so we have acknowledged what lessons we needed to learn from the incident and have now put it rest officially and moving full speed ahead! But yes we say he can kick rocks with the open toe shoe too haha 😆

love you guys, and the incident with the guy at the airport just demostrated how people fear feelings in themselves which they cannot deal with and learn to hate themselves and others because of it. It is sad, but you are not expected to tolerate those kind of feelings or submit to those kind of attacks, You can only take so much and you are a human beings and for anyone to question your humanity is provocative. I can't say what I wiould have done, but someone following me and making those kind of comments, I believe could bring anyone to the breaking point. You might not have been satisfied with your reaction, but you defended yourself. Please do not beat yoursefl up about that. again, Love you guys.
