It's our 3rd year back to the Kingdom of Tonga! Tonga an extra special place for our family and we're so happy to be back where our travels really began.
This year we had some really special experiences with the whales. And, we brought some new friends - Derek Hough, Brooks Laich, and Chloe Egbert. It is so special watching someone see and experience humpback whales in the water for their first time.
The most exciting moment was when each of the kids joined us for a day on the boat. They were so brave and excited to see the whales. The moments when we were all in the water together as a family (Cali was on the boat) with the whales was one of the most special moments we've ever shared.
This is our last video as a full-time traveling family. We'll still continue to do a weekly video even once we return HOME (sounds weird!) to Hawaii.

I remember Steve Irwin showing a young Bindi to a dolphin Momma and her baby, and saying we are showing each other our babies :) This reminded me of this! That Momma whale was so happy to show you her baby, and I bet she was all beside herself to see your baby too! They are so intelligent! Beautiful!

I lost my dad 3 years back and I m still a teen but seeing you with Dorothy is like seeing my childhood with my dad the way she swims wit you melts my heart out and tears at the edge of my eyes . Jess: You are an Amazing mom, You plan plane tickets, hotel reservations, and still get your kids in bed before its to late, you are the type of mom i want to be one day. My favorite part would have to be the moment after Cali saw the shark. Initially I'm sure there was some surprise, shock and maybe even fear. He looked to his dad for confirmation and like you said was able to COMPLETELY trust that everything would be okay. He was able to trust his daddy and go right back to snorkeling. Such a beautiful moment!

I’m in tears..(happy) tears. Watching all of you swimming with the whales 🐋. Their incredibly beautiful creatures. I saw something that both dad & the whale had in common........their young. Both of you had your child attached, both were letting their young experience the waters and both were so curious of each other. And most breathtaking both trusted one another. Just unbelievable. I'm pretty much at a loss for words with each and every video you post, but this one brought me to tears multiple times. The way your family loves each other is truly moving. These moments you share together are breathtaking. I've been travelling (usually solo) for the past few years on and off, and I am SO INSPIRED by you guys to keep it up. It's been my dream to visit Tonga to swim with whales for as long as I can remember, and each time you upload a video from there my desire to have this experience grows so much stronger. I pretty much cried for 32 minutes straight in this one, as I just can not comprehend what it would be like to be in the VERY close presence of such magnificent, gentle creatures! I can't wait to make it happen once it's safe to travel again. I recently started at the very beginning of your uploads with vlog #1, and am making my way through the many years of family travel - watching at least 3-4 episodes a day on average. Thank you for all that you do for the world, and all of the inspiration and joy you bring to my life as I watch you do what you love! xo

Although it makes me sad that this is the last vlog you make as a full time travelin family, I hope to see a few more in the future. Thank you so much for sharing your journey these past three years. I get it. I feel things pretty deeply and it is truly magnificent and awesome to see you two with your daughter frolic with all of the whales, though particularly the whale and her baby ! I am in tears...everyone should have the privilege to experience something like this.

Made me cry,those majestic animals are so gentle with your little girl ..what memories she has forever ..I'm disabled the only relief from pain is in the water so Thank you so much for sharing when I'm in the pool after lockdown here in the UK, I'll be thinking of Whales xx ☺
