We had in our last winter (2023) 10-15 nights that were cold (during the day it is ok) during the entire winter. All the other days are warm in winter like these days from now.

@@christopherhouse7937 yes, exactly those temperatures we have on the cold nights. During the cold days we have around 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit.

They do not require an amount of days to stay, but why they introduced this law was also because many people want to be residents, without to live in Paraguay. If you are such a person, I recommend to come once a year and make a holiday for at least 2 weeks per year. When you renew for 10 years SHORTLY BEFORE THE FIRST 2 years, you could stay in your country without coming to Paraguay FOR 3 YEARS, but until then, I hope that you wish to get the permanent residency and in this case, you should show at least a little interest to also live in Paraguay. I was 2 times in Paraguay every time 15 days before I applied for our residency and I enjoyed the time here every day I was here to find out if I like to live in Paraguay.

I like to visit Encarnacion (I was 2 times there) but I do not want to live in a city (it does not matter which city). My happiest life is outside of cities where I can hear the birds the entire day like we do it on the property we live. I believe that the weather in Encarnacion is better than in Asuncion.

I visited 1 time a colony from the Mennonites and I liked it very much, what I saw there. Their colonies are not near to us and we did not get a contact to them yet. But this is a good idea. I do not know if they are open to know other people but it is worth to try.
