You would think you would have made a shower /toilet area. Where its warm .put up walls atleast to shelter from the wind and rain. Get a portable play pin for when your outside. Or she can even sleep in inside. You all holding her 24/7. You will regret it. Also you can get a baby monitor if you want to keep her in play pen sleeping. Its ok. You will hear her.

Probably should prioritize a few things before stamping the brick pattern on to the storage shed. When will you begin building your house? Roberto's A-frame looks the same as it did months ago? Also, a wall or 2 by the shower from your knees up to the shower head would fix the wind problem. Keep safe, especially Sadie.

Sweetie you need to put Miss Sadie on a schedule. Babies have an innate capacity to self soothe and the earlier she learns to do that the better all your lives will be. If mama is exhausted it will catch up to you eventually and hit you like a ton of bricks. Take care of yourself.

@@CheGypsyWay It doesn't have to be constant. She can still watch what her parents are doing and bond with everyone in a play pen sometimes. It's funny you say "this stage goes so fast and there's no back to it." It's true, mommy will not have a back if she spends so much time carrying around the baby while doing farm work. She herself said it was a big factor in wiping her out. She's an upbeat person and not a complainer, so for her to admit that, it must be really wearing her down.

Hugelkultur is where you fill the garden beds with sticks and branches first. It will take longer to break down then the hay will. Don't be discouraged as the beds settle. Every year at the end of the season I add mulched tree leaves and in the spring I add compost that has been sitting for a year or so. Once you get the system going, it is a rotating thing that your garden will blossom under.

Regarding beet leaves... Use the baby leaves in salads, they are so decorative too. The larger, withered looking leaves and all the stalks (of actually any root vegetable, beets, carrots, celeries, turnip- not sure about potatoes) saute them (you can cook mixed leaves together if you have too little of each - even better)with a generous amount of chopped onions (yummy with some garlic) in olive oil. If you would like them really soft, add in some warm water and let it simmer until the excess water has evaporated. Be careful with the amount of salt, if you use it. Leaves have a lot more volume before they shrink while cooking, so add your seasoning salt towards the end. Eat them luke warm or cold, left overs taste even better the next day. This also tastes very good mixed in with plain yogurt over a slice of bread. Enjoy

Here on the border of Texas and Mexico, children that start teething are given a green onion to hold and chew on. The green onion numbs the gums and keeps the kids happy chewing on something while teeth are coming in. Keep the green onion about 6” or more so they don’t try to swallow it. It really works. ❤️

Here in Germany, in such cases, we give infants a baby bottle with rum and pickled cloves. Works great. The cloves numb, the alcohol disinfects and the little ones are always in a good mood. Joke aside. Green onions for a four month old infant? Are you okay?

Sadie could be teething. It can present like a little cold before you realize the baby is starting to teeth. My son actually started teething by the time he was three months.

Love the progress, you have come so far, keep up the good work 👍, just watched Justin Rhodes/ Joe Salatin on animals being kept on same spot for more than 90 days and seeing you're dogs ground has prompted me to help you out hopefully in a small way for you and your pets to keep healthy, put a deep bedding around the pen or move them every 90 days let original area heal for at least 90 days or you will start getting pests and viruses building up that could effect you as well as your pets, this applies to all animals moving regularly keeps everything on balance, I know you are very busy with everything and it's so cool seeing you all do well, but we don't wish anyone or anything getting ill. Keep up the good work 👍 peace

Hey guys. Just a thought, Sadie is able to lift her head so much, when she is riding on the front of each of you and when you're busy working, and you're bending over her little head pushes back to your chests and her face sometimes is so precious. Check it out, she's like whoa guys, I'm a kid here about to have my face planted in your garden. MOVE MY FACE !!! MOVE MY FACE!!! Too funny. Love watching your growth, on the land, with your friends and family. Stay safe

In the middle of a snow storm in Nova Scotia - love being able to escape virtually, to Lola’s Farm in Panama. I especially love seeing what food you are growing - I’m a passionate home gardener. Your rock wall looks fantastic and I love the stamping you are doing on the foundation of the workshop - it just looks great! Take care, folks - until the next one!

@@janiceparnell8707 wow! Just curious, do they close schools on snowy days? If we get more than 2 inches in Maryland (USA), the schools are definitely closed. 😩

@@je9833 If it starts out snowing heavily in the morning school is sometimes cancelled or if it starts snowing heavily during the day, sometimes the kids are sent home at lunch. A lot depends on the buses and whether they can get the kids safely to school and/or safely home at the end of the day. I think it would take at least 10 - 15 cm to cancel school here. Do you get much snow in Maryland?

Don't be down on yourselves! That place NEVER looked crappy! You built it with your own hands, it is an improvement in every project you do. Give yourselves a pat on the back! Not a lot of people could do what you all are doing! Lola's Farm was never crappy, it was always a beautiful place because you put your heart into it.

This is my favourite channel on RU-vid by far and I follow about 20. I love how you show your day to day life in such quality without dramatising it for views. But most of all what warms me most is how you 2 help each other with raring your beautiful child. Keep going you are amazing at what you do.

Love this video. It is cool to see what you all can do working together and I like the way that Sadie staying in her little kangaroo-like house along with either Mom or Pop. The farm is coming along beautifully. You guys work hard and play hard and you all get along. Very good to watch. If the rest of the world was like that, we'd have no wars, no political bulling, meanness, violence, etc. You are the best. Hasta luego.

Safety corner Power tools, welder, animals etc. not a concern cause I know u guys are careful, just pay attention to the cement dust and the wood/twigs that dangle precariously close to her eyes. You will have a horribly bad year if that baby gets poked. For the grown ups, wear gloves and a dust mask when dealing with concrete. It's like washing your hands with battery acid and pumice every-time you touch it. I have worked with a lot of concrete, and had my kid 20 years ago, no judgements here just an observation.

They don't have Sadie near the concrete dust. They've mentioned before that they didn't want her near it.
