(spoilers on the ending.) to be honest, if JD lived at the end, he and veronica might have made up. but here's my theory as to why JD went crazy: JD had moved over and over, his mom died and he and his dad, according to JD, didn't talk much. he was never taught to love, until Veronica comes along, sees him fighting, and falls in love. She gives him more love than he's ever really felt in his life, and he wants to hold onto this. JD probably didn't know how to love properly, so he starts killing anyone that gets in his way or hurt veronica, so she dumps him. he's hurt by this, and he's so in love with veronica, that he tries to blame it on the entire school instead of her. he tries to bomb her, veronica stops him, and he ends up realizing what he's done. he takes a bomb and lights it up, ending it all, but before that he tells her he worships her and loves her, veronica tells him to stop, but then she ends up respecting his wishes and leaving the room, thus living. I honestly think if he was more loved by his parent, he wouldn't have gone crazy for veronica and grasped on to her so tightly. but that's my theory. do any of you agree??
