I went through a same thing. I wowed to God when i was a teenage to remain pure for the Lord. But in my soul i had so much pains and trauma. Finally i ended seeking approval and recognition from men. I knew i was not suppose to have sex but i didn't find the strength to say no to them. I was so broken and end up with depression. Fast forward i re-dedicated my live to Jesus. After that he brought me into a journey so beautiful than i can even explain. He healed my heart, my soul, showe me grace, mercy and so much consideration. Now i am waiting for my spouse and for all his promise to be fulfilled. Jesus is alive.!!!

Hello Hala. It was a difficult journey but the Lord was so faithful to heal my heart and even restore the relationship with my father. I learned how to see Father God as my first Father and that brought so much healing in my life. I may consider doing a while video on this topic if you are interested? what you went thru, reflects what i am goin thru now. I do believe God is preparing me too. I have become so much better at my spending(which i didnt even realise till u mentioned it). I also feel so much better to be alone with God and prayin to break all the bonds i had created out of ignorance. I now hunger more for a godly relationship
God lead me here I too didn't have a good relationship with my dad, God told me let go of the past relationships and also I embraced purity, also I'm being a contented single, I was not a good cook but I find myself cooking like and ask myself if my husband would love the food, my spiritual life has grown so much ...Im in employed right now but I feel the provider is just around me.... I nowadays feels my husband is so close and I write, pray for him. May the good Lord bless you

I have that exact same sense that I cannot marry just anyone! There are a few questions that I know to ask since God has been clear about certain things being a part of my future. So, it's going to be a very special person who answers yes to those questions!

Wow this is exactly what I was looking for and needing!! I’ve been in an intentional year of singleness and it’s coming to a close. God has been speaking to me about my husband, and continuing to adjust things and fine tune things… many of which you mentioned God did in your life! What you shared confirmed and encouraged where I am at… even the detail of me loving my life so much and being independent that I’m concerned I’d rather be alone than spend time with my husband. And quality time is my love language haha

This was really good. You spoke a lot about the highlights of your journey but we’re there any struggles with your Faith walking this journey? I have a similar healing journey with the Father wound. I have forgiven but still working to have my mind restored. I liked that you shared that there was still healing after the fact. Something I’m still growing through is this false thought that all of my issues have to be resolved before entering into the marriage covenant which I know is not true and is impossible as we’re all being sanctified so long as we live.
Hi, Britt! Wow thank you so much for your message and transparency! You inspired me for a video topic on the lie that you have to be perfect or and problem free before you’re ready for marriage. Such a lie! I dealt with this as well. I also have been wanting to do a video on the father wound as well but waiting on the Lords timing for it. And to answer your question about struggling with faith while in my journey, absolutely. I had doubts come into my heart often and I had to remind myself of what God said. Everything you shared on your comment is all normal and Jesus will meet exactly where you’re at!

Jesus knows about our hearts how crushed we are and He is healing us...I disobeyed God and it's been 3 and 1/2 years since the boy I thought was my bf and I loved took advantage of me...He was strong I wasn't and after that day He left me...what hurts the most is the fact that He bragged about it in school.I lost my dignity and I wronged God so bad. I'm still hurting so bad despite the fact that it was back in 2019. And I don't know why I'm writing this here but Jesus is healing me.
That does not sound like it was consensual. I'm sorry that happened to you. It's not your fault. Remember there is now no condemnation under Christ Jesus. His blood covered it all, so don't let anyone make you feel guilty or ashamed. You are still a good women and worthy of being a wife, if that's what you want. You are worthy because you are a child of God. Your beauty comes from your relationship with Jesus. That's what your future husband will be attracted to. I pray God heals your heart. He's working on my heart too. Keep getting better.
I’m am so so sorry this happened to you! We are praying for healing of your body and heart and for complete restoration. Jesus is faithful to heal you. Keep turning to Him. He is not ashamed of you and you don’t carry shame on you because he died and crucified shame. He loves you.
Interesting story. If you don’t mind me asking, could you elaborate on what led to you leaving your now ex-husband? I ask as it would give better context especially in regards to God working in that situation. Additionally, you expressed that they weren’t horrible. Hi Jodi! Great question 🙂 I believe with lots of girls/women this is what happens and this is what happened with me: I gave sex to get love. When my ex boyfriends wanted to have sex I didn’t say no when I really didn’t want to because I was scared they would leave me. I needed them, their “love” to feel validated and wanted. I was afraid to be left and rejected. Once I was healed from my father wound I saw how it was so easy for me to not only say no to the wrong men and but definitely no to sex and to wait for my future husband. Hope that makes sense 🙂
