Wow. I live here and had no idea you guys had that many tractors. 😂 Now I know what all the junk all over the yard is, haha. What a collection! Great job, Luke on all your hard work! And thanks for taking us on this tour! My favorite part was the drone footage at the end!
Luke, nice to see you upgrade those old tractors with newer style tool boxes and cup holders. I do the same, but my buddy Steven, another Deere friend, well, it just drives him nuts because he thinks I'm destroying the tractor. My contention is, he doesn't really use his, he just mows and looks at them. All of my tractors, now and before, are workers, there are no Garage Queens in the Florida Deere herd. Nice collection.
Those things are a must for me! I mainly use the toolbox for my phone, but I don’t know what I would do without it. I have a toolbox sitting in my shed right now that I need to get time to cut into the 430. Thanks for watching and commenting!
We actually have that cab for sale! Feel free to reach out for an even better price. Thanks for watching. www.ebay.com/itm/166044765245?hash=item26a90a0c3d:g:el4AAOSw05BkQpnA
I haven't yet decided what I'm going to do with that 400. There are some new spindles and idlers on the way for the deck, and I may end up just selling it for someone to mow with. The pedal drive is an option though. Thanks for watching and contributing you machines to the group.
I'm looking to buy a small older John Deere ( 1990s ~) tractor to mow about 1 acre. Are there any specific models to look for from that era while on a budget and how is parts availability in general? Awesome collection by the way
In my opinion nothing beats the 4x5 series (425, 445, 455) if you’re looking for good affordability, parts availability, and ease of service. They are great machines and a blast to work on. Find one in good shape that’s been well cared for and it will last a lifetime. I also really like the 318, 322, 330, and 332, as well as 420 and 430 of course. They can me somewhat more difficult to find parts for but nothing’s impossible to find. Where are you located? I have a nice 425 AWS I’m selling.
@@LukesJohnDeereGarage Thank you, that's all excellent information. I do all my own auto repairs, so it would definitely be fun to wrench on those. I'm located near Spartanburg South Carolina
Good deal. I’m in Savannah GA so we’re not too far apart. Hope you find something nice - don’t forget to check GovDeals… I just saw an X495 sell in eastern NC for a steal.
