That's a nice and very rare Euro spec 300SEL 6.3. Congratulations. The driver who dropped off my first 6.3 set it on fire doing exactly what you did. You're going to have a pile of fun with it when you get it driving. Try to avoid burn outs, you could damage a very expensive diff. Best of luck.
@@youngtimersgarage good luck with it. I've been going through my own saga. Finally got the engine where it needs to be to discover a leaking heater core. Onwards and upwards
A tip for you, check the inside of the fuel tank for any rust inside before you try to make short trips with the car. We've had many times that the fuel tank was full of rust and the first couple of kilometres were alright but then the engine starts to run really rough and won't start again until you've solved it ;)
