The very first preacher I ever heard was Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa Calif. I was just 13. I had never heard of Messiah before that. I received him into my life almost from day 1. I've never heard another pastor that engages me quite as much until I heard Mottel Baleston. I love him and his style of teaching. I'm 64 now, and still going strong for our Messiah. I tell everyone who will listen.

I use to think I wasn't as special, but then I learned that I am. The Father chose me, I didn't choose him! I am blessed because of my belief in his son our Messiah Yeshua. He draws us near to him. Once we our chosen by the Father, NOTHING can snatch us out of his hands. I didn't do nothing to deserve it, yet he still had mercy on me, and called me to believe in him and his words. I have only been attending a Messianic congregation for about a year now but it has been on my heart for over 30 years but my family kept saying, “But your not Jewish”. I wish I would have gone anyways. Beings daughter of a pastor and from a family who had descended from many pastors I always wondered why we didn’t pay attention to what God has told us from the beginning. I wanted so badly to connect with the laws and appointed days that He gave us which I always felt were a gift from G-d showing his love for us. Thank you for helping me to really understand my inclusion for receiving that gift!
Psalm 96:10-13 is prophecy about Yeshua’s return. (People will be perplexed at the roaring of the sea 🌊) I like how it says (I use the NIV but you should still find it in yours if yours is different) in verse 12 “then all the trees of the forest will sing for Joy” The first thing that came to my mind is “the rocks and trees will cry out” But this is the first one I found in the gospels for you Luke 19 37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: 38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” 39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” 40 “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
We Catholic Christians don't feel like we're second class. The Apostle Paul preached that Jews and gentiles are one in Christ. We rejoice in having Jews in the church. We love you, Rabbi Mottel.

I love this - about 3 years ago I actually found out my forebears were Jewish on my father's side. I have always loved Israel and her People and of course I love my Saviour Yeshua. I belong to one of the institutional churches you mention, which despite many faults has the clear teachings of Jesus and where passages of the Bible, from both Old and New Testament including the psalms are read or chanted and explained at every worship gathering and whose churches oftern have a physical resemblance to the Jewish temple or synagogue on the interior. There is usually a sanctuary, a tabernacle in which is kept the Word made flesh, a sanctuary lamp like the Ner Tamid signifying the eternal presence of God, an altar and the priesthood of Jesus made present in real time. If I may, however, I wanted to make a small correction. You said Avram (Abraham) was Jewish. While he is the forefather of the Jews, he himself was not a Jew. He came from Ur of the Chaldees, (present day Iraq). As you know, his grandson Yakovv, (Jacob) who God renamed Israel, was the forefather of the 12 tribes kown as Israelites or Hebrews of which one of the tribes was the tribe of Judah. A Yehudhi referred in ancient times only to someone from the tribe of Judah (Yehudhah). After the conquest, dspersion and/or assimilation of the Northern tribes followed later by the capture and exile of the Southern Kingdom (Kingdom of Judah) survivors from the Kingdom of Judah were the only Israelites who retained their distinct identity. The term Yehudhi, or Judaeus (Latin), Ioudaios (Greek) or Jew (English) over time came to apply to all adherents of Judaism, the religion whether a descendant of Judah or not.

You are so right about we gentiles not having a place when you are eating clean, everybody hates you, when you fallow and keeping the Sabbath is the same, I was raised different from my others people at school, we didn't eat pork or any unclean food, and they would called me Jewish but as an insult, till I found a messianic Jewish church, now I feel at home!

I think psalm 22 is also very conclusive since it depicts the suffering of Jesus and then clearly states that all people of all nations will bow before the Lord.
Rabbi l believe as Jews convert, that God wants you all to educate Christians about what we have been missing - to teach us Judism. I never understood why we didn't celebrate your ( God's ) holidays. I always felt left out, so know Christian's crave this.

I needed to hear that, I have always wanted to be Jewish, and have seen many convert friends regarded as second class because that is what they essentially were told. If I don't have Jewish bloodlines somewhere I would be amazed. Rahab had the heart, and wisdom . Ruth were very Jewish in everyway except thier natural lineage. Ill take it! What matters is how YHWH, not man. First the natural born Jew, then the spiritually born Jew.
As a gentile in a messianic congregation, when people ask what religion I identify with, I reply messianic judaism. They say oh you are a messianic jew then...is that alright? I think that is the heart of the issue, amongst my congregation my ethnic history separates me but my way of devoting myself to God makes others view me differently.
As a Messianic Rabbi, can you tell me if the new covenant prophesied about in the Old Testament of our Bible is "NEW" or just the old one "RENEWED". As a gentile believer it's seems clear to me that it's new rather than renewed. There are a growing amount of gentiles trying to live like old covenant Jews because they believe it is the Old Covenant written on our hearts now. I want to please God so this it's very important to me.

Since 2012, I've believed in the Siri Thesis, where the Church has been in exile, but visible, somewhere, since the death of Pius XII. In 2028 will be 70 years of exile and could correspond to 70 years of Jewish exile in the Old Testament. Christ's followers were known, in the first century, as Christians and Catholics. Catholics, I say, are the real Jews, the new Jews, new Hebrews, by religion, new Israelites. Outside of Israel, in Old Testament, no salvation, outside of New Israel, in New Testament, no salvation. The Magisterium of Moses was changed by Christ to that of Peter. They both were given the post of Governor General, vice Regent, Vicar of God's People.
A big THANK YOU. In the Talmud it says that a gentile to a Jew is like a dog. Question: I've been told that we have to be symbolically circumcised (drop of blood) to be part if Israel. And cannot say that "Whoever calls in the Name of Y'shua doesn't get you in". Please explain.
You are grafted in (gentiles) by believing in our righteous Messiah (to all nations) And following the 7 laws of Noah, the eternal binding covenant on all humans. From Mt Sinai Moses, the ger toshav followed the 7 laws and were grafted into the Jewish nation. This is what Jesus, Paul, and the Apostles were doing too. See Acts 15/ 1st Jerusalem council. ( the light yoke). Paul also circumcised Timothy because he had a Jewish mother, because he's Jewish As a Messianic Noahide you follow the basic laws and can add other aspects of Judaism into your life ( but not obligatory incl Sabbath) by following Jesus the 613 commandments are not binding on you - incl circumcision. Any Jew that believes in Jesus and doesn't want to follw 613 commandments can also become a Messianic Noahide. Read Harvey Falk - "Jesus the Pharisee" it will explain all of this. ( not the Hyam Mcaby one) After baptism/ mikvah by immersion from an Apostolic line you are daughter/son of God and born again. We honour that keeping the 7 laws, living the sermon on the mount as much as we can.
How can you tell people not to mention his name when in Psalm 91:14 it says otherwise? The problem is that Christian religions call him yehova and that is a pagan name created by Rome to tarnish HIS name.

You started out your video by giving a brief overview of how things were before Jesus came but then you kind of lost me when you tried to explain how Jesus is the messiah. You quoted Genesis and Isiah, those verses are not clear and "servant" does not mean "son". You made a huge jump by taking those rather subjective arguments and than using it explain why Jesus is divine.
