Are you sure? The biblical definition and scriptural demonstration indicates Jewish is identified by who and how a person worships.. There was a mixed multitude at Sinai and view who was to be circumcised. You may read most any book in your Bible and find that distinction is given not to ethnicity but to pagan worship through idolatry and those who had FAITH in and worship the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob as their God specified. Worship not ethnicity…. Cory Abouaf The a concept called the "righteous remnant" spoken of in the Old Testament. There was always a righteous remnant that was going to be saved. The righteous remnant of the New Testament era were the ones who came through the great Tribulation of 70 AD, received blessings and went on to establish the Church, the Israel of the Spirit. I don't know what your eschatology is, but the righteous remnant that came through this Tribulation was a very significant event in Bible prophecy. It's as if God paved the way for a righteous remnant to be saved in the aftermath of 70 AD, just like in the story of Noah when a righteous remnant was saved from the flood.
Yes. The more I study the more I see that Gentile grafted into the physical Israel, there was no distinction, just like the mixed multitude from Egypt. They were never called "spiritual Israel" but were considered adopted physically. Thus Gentiles grafted in became real physical Israel pre 70 A.D. as well as after. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, all are one. Yes they are spiritual because Israel is a physical nation but also a spirit entity born by the same faith Abraham had in the One great Spirit. Cory Abouaf Yes. The concept of a "physical Israel" comes from the bloodline that the Old Covenant Jews had. Jews in the 1st century could prove that they were biological descendants of the Patriarchs like Abraham. They had genealogical records to prove they were descended from Abraham. But that bloodline they had has been lost in history. The genealogical records have gone, which is why we refer to Israel as the Israel of the Spirit. To be in Israel today is by faith in Christ, not through a biological bloodline from Abraham. The gentiles (Christians) were grafted into Israel and received the blessings that were promised to the Jews, so it can be considered to be a rebirth of physical Israel. Messianic Judaism is jews accepting yahshua hamashiach (jesus christ) as LORD. So in order to be a messianic Jew you must originally be a Jew. We are the same in that we are born of God and are now under grace and not the law. God bless 🙏🏼
