Sending you guys so much love. We had a chemical pregnancy followed by a miscarriage before we had our rainbow baby. You saying you knew something was off is so relatable. The night before I lost our baby I said I didn’t feel pregnant anymore and something was wrong. I was very bloated & spotted too! This video will be helpful to so many people. But also so triggering too, I hope anyone struggling reaches out for help! Tommy’s is an amazing charity with support for mum and dad (dads usually get forgotten when it comes to support). I wouldn't usually comment but I've been through this and you've explained everything so well. Your so right you don't know what's 'normal' during a miscarriage and there isn't enough awareness. I think you've done your followers proud by posting this video as it's real life. I'm really sorry for what both of you have been through xx

I’ve never heard about how painful and utterly traumatic miscarrying can be, it does seem very hush hush and just something to get on with when it’s spoken about anywhere. I don’t usually comment on videos but I felt the need to on this one. Firstly, I am so so sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage last year and can 1 million % say that it was the most traumatic experience of my life. The heartbreak and grief completely took over me I didnt think that I could be ‘normal’ again. But 1 year on I can tell you that in your own time you will be able to feel happy again and your little one will always have a special place in your heart 🤍xxx
After 3 consecutive miscarriages and struggles with infertility i know how you feel. I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant with our little girl we have never made it this far before amd the anxiety I feel everyday is awful. We want nothing more than our family to begin. We hope and pray our third pregnancy will be our happy ending after so much heartache. Me and my partner experienced a miscarriage around the same time as you guys, we were told we were 7 weeks along in our pregnancy. It’s so sad as it was our first pregnancy and it was a miscarriage. I’m so sorry to hear what you have been through. I went through similar to you in April. Had 2 healthy pregnancies with no problem tried for no 3 was excited did all the early testing 6 days before and the same for me… the lines not appearing within the time frame they should have everything from then just didn’t feel right I had a gut feeling.. then the on and off spotting plus I contracted covid at 5 weeks pregnant and I just felt rotten in general and not the same as I did in both my other pregnancies. scan confirmed baby was fine 6+4 however said I had a bruise on my womb which was causing the bleeding said I could have a reassurance scan in 2 weeks. Went back and my worst fear confirmed no heartbeat my baby had died within the couple of days of that scan. Never felt such sadness and loneliness in my life. I opted for surgical due to health anxiety and a huge fear of blood but carried my baby for nearly a week before I could go in. You are so right it’s not talked about enough and you feel very alone. I’ve gone through a huge grieving process however I’m finally starting to heal from the experience and have kept a little special bag with all my tests and few other bits I won’t ever let go of. But it’s really helped hearing your experience as I almost felt the same something told me I just knew from the start everything felt off. I hope anyone going through this right now and endlessly searching for others to help you can take hope you will come through it 💫 thank you for your video I hope your feeling brighter and looking to your future keeping that baby still with you in your heart lots of love xx
I am so sorry for your loss, no words can make it feel any easier. You did the right thing telling them to turn the screens off. I had an early scan 6 week + 5 I knew all the dates I was obsessed, they told me I was 6 weeks + 3 and straight away I knew their was something wrong. I seen the little baby on the screen moving and it’s gorgeous heart beat, I got to 3 months before I started bleeding, went for our scan and it was awful seeing nothing their just the baby low down no heart beat it’s an image I’ll never forget, sending you all, all my love x
I’m so sorry that you went through this😢I lost my baby at 10 weeks but they past away around 8/9 weeks and it was the most traumatic things that I’ve ever been through😔 women don’t talk about it enough but I’m now 13 weeks pregnant but I will never forget my first pregnancy with that little one and they will always be my first baby. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing. I found out I was pregnant for the first time with a faint test too on the same date as you - 17th May and I miscarried around early July. It’s a horrible thing you’ve had to go through to be able to share it in the first place but I hope in some ways sharing has helped you both feel and grieve. I made a reel about a month after I found out and it was the hardest thing to do but made me really feel it all. Sending all my love and hope for whatever the future holds xx
I’m so sorry Liv and Connor. You’re so right, Liv. Our bodies do have a kind of wisdom about these things, but it doesn’t negate your experience. I am currently 9 weeks with my first and very much in that anxious stage. Hearing your story didn’t scare me like I thought it might (I had to think hard if I could watch first just based on the title), but I am so glad I did. You did justice in talking about this sensitively yet factually, but also with grace and poise and consideration for other people’s situations, as well as the complexity of it all (such as being heartbroken, yet also grateful for your kids, and for Connor and how he’s experienced this with you). I'm so sorry. Big, big hugs Liv. Miscarriage is a very lonely, very painful situation. I went to the ER and the doctor was a complete asshole. He kept saying oh I was just 6 weeks and everything was fine after we did the ultrasound but I knew I was 10 weeks. I had an appt with my OB the very next week and that when my OB starts seeing you. I had already had my early scan so I knew something was wrong. After I went home my body naturally went through the process and it sounds so much like what you described. Since it started so quickly after starting the tablets, you may have been been going through it and starting the tablets was just a coincidence. I had to go to my OB appointments and go back several days in a row to track my hcg levels. I felt like it was an outer body experience and so traumatic at the same time. Sending you so much love ❤️
I can’t believe the way you were treated by professionals during this horrific experience. There should be a service to support women with this or at least advanced training for the staff. I am so sorry for you and all of the family. You are so strong🫶

My worst fear is and was seeing an ultrasound also with no heartbeat and all the worry etc along with pregnancy in general. I had two miscarriages before I had my little boy, I can totally relate to this!!! It's almost like watching a clip of my life and I'm sure most women will relate to this aswell!!! Just remember the most beautiful rainbows come after the hardest storms!!!! 🌈 It's OK to not be OK xxx

I had one of my children same time as you had Noah then I fell again same time you fell with Sofia, but sadly baby stopped growing 6-7wks I should of been 11 weeks and had to go through the same x I wouldn’t even look at my early scan pictures till months after x fell pregnant a few months after and now in third trimester and all is looking well just still haven’t got over my last tbh x My thoughts are with you both, it gets easier but you never fully heal I’m afraid x but you are strong x the kids help you in there own way and your partner xx x worst thing to ever happen to any parent xxxx
I feel for you so much my heart goes out to you and Connor! remember when I miscarried between my two children it was a horrible time as it was COVID and I was staying at my mother in law's and it was just the worst situation I'd ever been in there was no support and like you said you feel it in your gut. I went to a&e as I didn't have a dr and the nurse just ran in and went so when did you miscarry? And I just stared at her and burst into tears and said I don't know if I'm miscarrying that's why I'm here. Definitely lack of support from the hospitals. Stay positive stay strong xxx
