Holy Transfiguration College is pleased to announce four certificate programs:
Eastern Christian History-learn about the different Oriental Orthodox traditions, while centering your study of history on Jesus Christ.
Eastern Christian Scripture-explore the world which produced the written Word and how it is passed onto us today!
Contemporary Studies-discover what Eastern Christian wisdom teaches on diversity, encounter, suffering, culture, and more!
Servant Enrichment-delve into what it means to minister in your community.
All certificates are 12 credit hour programs, with each class duration at 16 weeks. These short-term graduate programs are designed with your busy schedule in mind as well as your learning goals.
In addition, HTC is offering a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) to help students orient orthodoxy and inform orthopraxy. This 36-credit-hour degree is divided into 18 credits of core courses, 9 credits of electives, and 9 credit hour thesis. HTC offers a personal learning experience, tailoring the guided research and reading to the specific goals of each student.
All programs welcome a wide range of learners and equip students for the academy, ministry, and non-profit work, all while offering personal enrichment and transfiguration. Our students go on to impact their communities by building bridges between orthodox Christianity and the humanities.
