Is rent worthy or purchasing own house is better

Depends. There are several factors to consider. If you want to live for short term in the city or place, then you might go with the renting, for but if you will there long term, then its better to own it and start building the equity. Financial conditions, job or work scenario, etc also matters when deciding.

How do you manage $250 for groceries 😫
@canadadreamers_
@canadadreamers_ 6 месяцев назад
That's the tough part actually. The grocerry cost surely varies from person to person, family to family, store to store, city to city. There are plenty of ways you can save on grocerries. We try to stick with the list to avoid buying items which we dont require. We use Flip app for price matching. We aslo use Instacart to check if there are any offers going on. $250 was only the average for us, we have also spend more in some months. :)

Are you aware you have a swastika symbol on your door 🫤

Hi, yes, it is auspicious in Hindu culture. :)

It through me off as well but then I remembered that the Nazi’s stole the symbol from their culture.

@@trob1063 The Nazi swastika has the arms turned to 45 degrees giving a slant to the symbol, whereas the swastikas of Hinduism are presented with the base arm lying flat.

@@canadadreamers_yes, but regardless off the differences, the Nazi’s adopted the symbol after a German archeologists unearthed thousands ancient Hindu versions in India. Because he had previously discovered a few clay pots in Germany, from the 6th century with similar versions of the swastika on them, his archeologists partner tried to explain why India would have so many more of them than Germany, where the people are considered the master race, superior to all. His theory was that ancient Aryans had conquered and occupied India, taking the symbol with them. Hitler was very big on symbols and the meanings behind them. So when Hiltler’s political party was looking for a symbol to represent them, he was told that he should use the symbol found in India as it showed proof that the ancient aryans were conquerers and therefore he adopted the symbol and presented it to the German people as representing victory of the Aryana man. So it was indeed stolen from Hindu culture regardless of any slight differences.
