Do it, you'll not miss the Alps I'll guarantee that mate ! Picos and Portugal are much better riding roads, next to zero traffic, you'd be lucky to see a policeman and its a cheap holiday digs wise, food and drink, I've been last two years and going again in May ... got fed up with traffic, road works and prices across Germany and into Austria / Switzerland

Hi thanks for the comment really appreciated, we went on the 30th may and did 15 days of absolutely unbelievable riding, and just to top it off it was our 1st overseas tour. honestly go and do it it was so exciting and dramatic every day..... cheers ride safe
Great video!! I was there in March this year! The Picos de Europa are amazing! I had no snow, but the pictures with the snow are great! I will definitly go there once more! Hi thank you for taking a look, I haven’t managed to find a good way of sharing the Gpx files, I do use MRA app for plotting the trips, within the app another MRA user can ask to share each other’s routes… not sure if this helps but take a look at the app and search for me 👍and I would share with you all the best

I wasn’t anticipating snow and ice 😬 The route looks fantastic - which road took you to the top of the mountains? Was that Branavieja? Had to keep pausing video on road signs! Many thanks Allen

@adventuresontheroadandywiley Hi pal, you say March in this comment but May on a different comment ? ... I'm guessing it was March with the Snow, as end of May its starting to get warm. Also consider October .. hovers around 20 to 23 deg, so not too hot, and it's Sooooooo green and lush! .... simply amazing place to be bike or no bike 👍
