This is the most underrated size of boat! Big enough to have all the amenities, but small enough to be fast & trailerable. Good job docking on a single engine!
I had a Regal 2665 prior to my current Chris-Craft 381 Catalina...my CC is now for sale, and the Regal XO is the EXACT boat I will be looking for after the 381 sells. Thanks for the tour!
Been a Sea Ray fanatic for decades but since they no longer make boats like this I look forward to buying a Regal exactly like this in a few years. I’d prefer a Merc but a Yamaha will do.
Congratulations! That new boat is sweet! He made an excellent choice with that design and having an outboard. My only regret with ours is that we have a Mercruiser 350 and a Bravo III that is very difficult to service because it’s so cramped. I see Happy Hours getting jealous. Don’t forget to sit on her from time to time and make her still feel wanted. Now you need to get another red and green rock!
I know full well merc I/O’s. We had a big block crammed in our last 27’ cruiser. Was a bitch changing impellers. At least you can trailer it and keep out drive out of water!
True although my svelte and lithe body is challenged every time I get in the engine bay! Your new boat is a beauty. I know you guys will have fun. Does it have a pull out transom shower for Matey?
That's a sweet boat, we had a 26ft Regal years ago. It was a great boat with plenty of room for the family. Regal makes a great boat. That will be nice unit at FMB, Sanibel, and Cabbage Key to mention a few.
Great choice when you told me you were gonna get an outboard. I knew it was that type of boat. Because that will be the same boat that would choose. And you're gonna love how you going to maintain that engine so easy? Congratulations, you and your wife.⚓️👍😁
That is the perfect boat for two peaple to do a weekend cruise..Actually really like it alot especially since its a outboard you lucked out finding that one!!!
I’m interested in getting this exact same boat as an upgrade from our bow rider. Also live here in CC. Looking forward to seeing how you like the 26 XO. Enjoy!
@ehap080 the 300hp Regal XO struggles to get on plane with 6+ people aboard. It gets there and is fine once on plane, but the boat requires wide open throttle for the initial push to get there. The newer models have a 350hp option.
Love the new boat! That little thing sure does pack the features into a perfect weekend cruiser size. Congratulations, I'm looking forward to seeing how it does on future videos.
Luv the NEW (used ) Boat Exactly what you needed & Such a Excellent Find , Now it’s like Hun we taking the Caddie or The Corvette out on the Water today! Congratulations Could of not Happened to a Very Nice , Down to Earth Beautiful couple , Very Happy For ya & Always Have Fun & live for TODAY, !!! U. Never know what lies ahead or Around that Corner. Luv all ur Videos & all the Mechanicals of upkeep & Maintenance in Simple easy to follow & understand., Keep. On. A Boating.1.day , 1. Boat , lol at a Time !!!!!!!!!
Congrats, on a great addition to your fleet. My first boat was a Regal that I had down in Texas on a lake setting. Never had any issues with it at all.
Congrats on the new boat! I never know what I'm going to see on here next! Looking forward to seeing all the new places you both end up at. Make sure you post a full-throttle video! :) Hopefully, Matie enjoys it too!
Reminds me of when we had our Regal 2565 window express that was being sold on the same dock to our new to us Bayliner 3988 fly bridge. It’s interesting to see how little the interior has changed in only 10 years. Also interesting that there’s no storage area where your feet would go in the bed since the AC and a storage unit would be there
I'll be very interested to hear how you like this. In researching boating around Florida vs our current 341 homebase in California, something like this Regal 26 XO looks like it would be VERY useful for Florida.
This is a great size boat … with very hard to find features at this size. Can you do a review on your Meridian 341. Looking to buy that one for our second boat.
You guys deserve it. She's a honey and omg an outboard to boot. Your NYawk accent is fading and wish you the best. Looking forward to retiring in the same area and would love to pick your brains regarding the housing market when ready to commit. Doc AJ
Congratulations! That boat looks perfect for you two. Much faster for cruising with all of the comforts. Actually, I hate to say it but I think that's more ideal than Happy Ours. Better for quick weekends, less maintenance and more fuel efficient.
Lol, I was almost right! my last smaller boat was a 27 foot regal with a 240 hp I/O. Smart with the outboard on your new one. my old 1988 regal would suck down 15 gallons an hour while on a plane at 22 mph. had all your amenities except no generator or air-conditioning. congratulations on your new purchase. Have fun!
Nice boat! The Admiral will have plenty places to lounge! Engine cover, boat cover, any trailer? AC is awesome. Make sure Matey has a nice spot to lookout!
Sweet ride! You never really seemed like the pontoon-kind of people. My only question is, how will you decide which one to take! I'm glad you shared about the engine being out of water being a feature - marine growth has clearly been a hassle with Happy Ours. Smooth sailing :)
Mark my words with the speed, efficiency and generator, happy ours may be for sale soon enough since she has gas engines. best of luck with After hours….
Samsonite………I was way off. I thought the Meridian was leaving. Slick little sleeper sand bar food and rum runner. That will be some special overnight stays local. Generator is extra primo good! Congratulations!
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs So a jaunt from FTL to Bimini is capable for this beauty? 70 gallons of fuel? The transom acrylic door would look nice with a white or silver vinyl martini glass. Help people see the door when it is closed. I have been looking over other 26 XO videos and have to say you made a top notch choice. Generator and outboards. Perfect cruiser. Enjoy!
My man. I watch u all the time. I’m Atlantic City Italian. 100%. I got house & slips here. I thought u gas to pay $90,ish. Great show I’m moving Florida soon young 50 I got nice sea ray
