Hello dear couple, I see that you are still struggling like many first parents are doing. As an experienced mother of two, I like to help you , so please don,t mind. You always want our opinions (we the viewers), so here it is. Always clean the baby before feeding. than feed the baby, burb the baby and put the baby back in his bed. it must be dark at night and quiet. What you are doing wrong, is to carry the baby too long in a bright room at night. This way he will never get a good night of sleep.When he is clean and fed well....put him back in bed. I never had these problems with my babies. and I was a single mom for a long time. Just keep a tight schedule. I hope you will find your rest if you do so. When the baby sleeps, you also both sleep. When the baby is sleepy, just put him down. He NEEDS quiet at sleep time. He fell asleep, and you woke him up. It will become a problem getting him to sleep as he gets older.

I don't know if you realise that beautiful kleem doesn't have to be held walked rocked every moment he is awake . You are making a rod for your own back , baby has to learn to be content with the over head toys etc . Holding baby 247 is as bad as not picking him up , find the middle ground or you will be holding him 247 for the next 2 years wondering why he won't go down to sleep . You are fantastic parents i'm sure you will work it out

As a Mama of 3 babies… K’aleem has his nights and days mixed up. Try to keep him awake more during the day! Try not to let him take long naps. He will know it’s night time also when you keep your home bright during the day and at night turn off lights get it dark and start putting him to bed at the same time every night! Kiddos thrive on a schedule. If you get your kiddos on a schedule early on, it will help them know what to expect and what’s expected of them! You got this! Praying for you both! ❤️🙏😁

Please put your son in his crib when he is a sleep. He is not a toy!!! Put him asleep, waking him up again and putting him asleep. Stop calling his name when he is asleep. Let him be.

He will get his nights and days mixed up, by sleeping more during the day, and up at nights. Every sound, doesn’t mean you have to pick him. He have to find his voice. Give him a nice bath, cream his skin,along with a massage in the evening’s…and he may sleep better in the nights.

@@Angela-r4r Well you can see it towards the end of the video. making pictures, busy for youtube in bright light, the baby is being forced to stay awake. I know they love him, but they are not thinking of his well being, and put him in bed for a good night of rest. If they ignore the viewers, while we trying to help them, than what am I doing on their channel?

Hi Beautiful couple, Kareem is a Beautiful baby and a Big Baby. Keep in mind your body temperature, we think they must be heavily covered but if you are not cold Kareem is probably not cold. So not a lot of cover when he is napping 💤 he is well dressed if you cover him up to much he will keep waking up. Love you guys ❤❤❤God Bless🙏🏽💝🇺🇸

Hey Family I am back ❤when you are at home , unless it is really cold in the house the only thing Kareem, needs is his all over sleeper if you are comfortable make him feel the same way. And he will be happy and you will be happy.kiss 🥰for Kareem😇

Your baby is just getting spoiled. You never helped him to get accustomed to daytime uptime and nighttime sleeptime. He is accustomed to being carried all the time, waking him up when he's asleep. As soon as he squeaks, he's pulled out the crib, he never learned to fall asleep on his own in his crib. You carry him till he falls asleep to put him to bed. Your heading for disaster as he gets older.

A mother's job is never done. Remember it takes TWO to make a baby and TWO to raise him. A mother needs to have time to recuperate, heal, rest. The MAN needs to fill in the gaps, clean, cook and be supportive. When I watch the video, I see mom hustling cooking, feeding and comforting the baby while dad films and walks around accomplishing zero. It appears that Dad has no role. Your house should be maintained by dad. You are NOT THE KING!

Well said. Mom needs support!❤ The “good times are over now”? Ian, you keep saying Anika has to take care of things with no help. You are both new parents, it will take the both of you, for baby to develop and grow. Ian can help cook, clean and care for baby! If not, mom will become more overwhelmed, stressed, and burned out.

First off you need to hold his neck . And walking around with him for 2hours to get him to sleep is not a good habit. Go about your everyday things when he is sleeping . He will learn . He looks like his mama .

Yes about blankets and pillows -they can cause death to babies! Also when she cooks… she needs to not have her scarf hanging in the sides or front with a gas stove that catches on fire and she’s scarred for life! I so wish she would tie these back behind her! These kids don’t listen - I hope all goes well … but they need to regard the comments as helpful and try to do better! It’s for the love anyone says anything to try to help!

Boil green fennel and drink this you will have plenty of milk and also helps the baby. Can you also check if he has colic, don’t stress as this is a learning process read books or watch RU-vid videos

It's dangerous to cover a baby up to his neck, he can move his arms and accidentally cover his face.Leave his arms out, cover till his waist only, if it's cold, dress him warmly
