We had an East to West bed and not again lol We now have a 2022 Grand Design 22mle North to South bed. We are looking at this model as a 2nd TT for distance excursions. We love the 12V Fridge our current and previous. But more important is the Twin bed setup allows us to get up at night without disturbing each other. And would immediately up grade to Lagun Table, I could have the spelling wrong lol. Appreciate this great vid.
We have a GeoPro 15TB and just took it out for a practice night at a nearby campground. We love it, it's just right for the two of us and our small dog, but I can't see anymore people than that in this space. We are leaving the bedding on the beds including a 1.5" memory foam topper which made it rather hard to sit with the table up, but, for the most part, we'll be cooking and eating outside. I love your idea to modify the legs and move the table back - I hope you'll do an instructional video on how to do that! Our little dog sleeps in her bed on the little bedside table, but hopefully, could still fit under the dinette table if it was moved down that far. I'm subscribing to see the mods you make to this sweet camper and to see where you go with it!
@@ProjectBasecamp so, I did an experiment setting the table up on one leg, pushing it back to the wall and setting the back of the table on a three-ring binder as a support. I think this table modification is definitely what we are going to do - it gives us the dinette feel, but still leaves floor space and sitting space, and gives us a place for the computer or games when we want it, but we can still leave it up when we sleep on the twins. As a bonus, I put our little (6 lb) dog's bed at the far end by the window and she loves being able to lay there and look out the window! I think my husband can just build a simple 'upside-down U-shaped' support out of 2 x 4's to rest the back end of the table on and we won't have to actually add short legs to the table. I'm so excited about this and want to thank you again for giving us this idea!
I have it set up against the back wall with 2x4s as well. I used some command strip Velcro but it just doesn’t stay too well. If we like it enough, I may try something a little more permanent.
I love this camper. Think it's perfect for my needs. Problem with many is y'all try to take too much crap. You don't need all the crap y'all try and take with you. That's why it's called minimalist lifestyle lol.
Nice video...I have the rockwood 15tb (as you said, the same exact unit) I have owned Rockwoods before and found them to be better than average build quality. For the life of me, I don't understand why they put the Ladder smackdab in the middle of the unit! blocking the under-storage door...my ladder is on the passenger side so that I have full access to the cargo area. Yes, I find that crazy table/iron board contraption useless, in between the two beds I put a lagun table that swivels, it works great. Also, that water heater with electric/gas is a quick recovery system when you have them on at the same time, it heats up that 6 gallons very quickly! Have fun!
Will you ever use three burners on the stove at the same time. I wish they did a two burner north to south .. it would make room for a coffee maker and a toaster since there is no counter space.
May I ask if you were able to negotiate your price. I know in these times, RVs are in demand so I know it's hard to pay less than MSRP but I refuse to pay that. Just wondered if you had any luck with your final price. Thank you :)
We didn’t negotiate, our dealer already had it well below anyone else that I could find. You may be able to these days, as inventory is getting better. Not sure about the 15Tb though, I know it’s a pretty high demand little trailer.
@@ProjectBasecamp Thank you so much for your reply... :) One more question, out of all the Geo Pro and E Pro videos yours is the only one with a stainless convection MW, all the other are black and seem to be just a MW. Did you upgrade, is it an option? Thanks a bunch :)
The 15tb comes with a standard microwave. The stainless convection is an added option. Our dealer only orders campers with all the options, so we didn’t have a choice in the matter
Dude I have a A-Frame camper and that table was SO heavy ..I took it out and put it in my shed....Bye Bye...I bought a round fold up table...I can carry with half an arm...Use it inside and outside....Way Way better....Plus It has to save on weight in my camper because my table weighed as much as a person riding in the front part of it...
