Finally! Been waiting for this video for months 😂 can’t wait to see it again with the furniture. Please post more videos, it keeps me going when I’m missing life in Dubai. Hopefully we’ll be moving back again in a few years but until then, hello from Oakville 🇨🇦

Second small sink is to maximise efficiency in the kitchen. It’s great for multiple tasks so if the main one is in use already e.g draining pasta in a colander, you can for example use the second sink for washing utensils etc. Xx

In Holland we also have the washing/ drying combo machines. We also have the separate ones. Mabrouk en besaha with your new apartment.

From Canada. Been living Dubai for past 3-4 years. The washer dryer combination is a complete no. Everyone I know who had one the dryer function broke down. Just get a separate one. It works better and actually smooths out clothes properly so most things don’t end up needing ironing.

I actually had a washer/ dryer 'all in one' in my old apartment here in Oklahoma, USA. I really liked it but they aren't super common.. especially here in Oklahoma. Now I just have the normal washer and dryer in my new apartment. I'm also a pretty new subscriber. My Palestinian coworker recommended your channel because I like the lifestyle type stuff. I'm happy she told me about you guys 😀

I had a washer and dryer in one. But in dubai it’s good to dry your clothes outside- it’s dries really quickly and it’s better for your clothes and linen :)

As an American I lived in UAE for over a year and no one could ever pay me enough money to move back to 130 weather 10 months out of the year lol. Dubai looks beautiful online, but being there is another thing. I love the outdoors too much 😂 I will say the place is SO safe, which is a big deal, but the heat really was a deal breaker for me. You can’t stay outside for more than 30 seconds lol

Hi guys I love your videos so much and congrats on the new apartment!! So I also live in the middles east and we have a washing machine that’s a washer and dryer but honestly it doesn’t dry at all so you’re probably better of getting each one separate

Beautiful apartment mA. I live in Dubai (16 years now) and one advice. Do NOT get a combo washer and dryer. You can get the stackable washer and dryer to save space.

I'm from the US and I have def seen washer/dryer combo machines - however, I would not recommend them. Anyone that I know that has one says they take too long to wash and dry clothes and aren't very efficient (at-least the ones I've seen). They end up washing and then hang drying clothes - as the dryer function just takes too long to dry clothes especially with heavy duty loads and things like comforters/bedding etc. If it fits in the space I would say get a stackable washer & dryer unit - so it takes up less space but gives you the benefit of having both. Maybe Dubai has more efficient machines that get the job done, or maybe they are better for lighter loads/less laundry. I haven't really done much research on them and am just speaking on what I've heard from family/friends - but of course they might work for you - I just never have been a fan.

The little sink is super practical ;) you use it to dry up veggies or dishes, while the main one is available for cooking :)

MashaAllah! Congratulations on your new place. BTW Canada does have the storage space in apartments lol. Not all apartments have them, but my apartment is a little older and it has it. The newer apartments are more luxurious and they cut down on space. Maybe that's why you haven't seen them in Canada.

The little small side sink and the washing machine & dryer in one machine is standard in UK, I’m surprised you don’t have this in Canada tbf

I have a combo washed and dryer here in the US but it’s the first time I had ever even heard of it. So far so good!

There are kitchen sink faucets that come with a separate filtered water dispenser. I have one myself and I cannot recommend it enough. It is perfect for smaller kitchens and it looks nice!

Me and my husband got an apartment in palm jumeirah, the most expensive part of Dubai - it was absolute hell because of constant construction (drilling at 8am) noises of clubbing, and zooming cars at 2am. We moved out after 4 months because we had enough, ended up getting a brand new apartment in Sharjah for half the cost, still some construction here but hardly any noise

I loved in Dubai for over 11 years. It’s understandable that the kitchens are that size in apartments, they are meant for singles or max a couple. Not like in Canada for a family . Families usually live in villas. Try le pain quotidien restaurant on thé walk. Or paparotti cafe.

Hello Jasmine yes we do have wash and dryer machine in one in South Africa Jasmine I have a samsung washing machine I rely on sunshine to dry my clothes so I follow the sun throughout the day my clothes dry very easily and quickly too🙂

You don't need a dryer in Dubai lol....put your clothes outside and they will dry up in no time. And for the yellow water, that's normal in Dubai. The water for the first few seconds is yellow, brownish but then begins to run clear after few seconds. If it doesn't and it's too much then you definitely should speak to your landlord. I couldn't recommend a shower filter enough, definitely get one it will save you from Dubai hair fall xxx

best of luck inshala for space saving and not to block your windows u can get a brita water pitcher, mount a tv on the bedroom/living room wall, add shelvings instead of nightstand, to double your closest space can add extra shelvings and tension rods etc...,😇😊😍

You rarely find dryers as people will rely on the racks to dry clothes . I wouldn’t do it at morning when it’s humid. But will notice the quality of the clothes how soft they are unlike here in Canada with dryers they tend to change fibers

Little advice, if you decide to move out later on consider moving to al khan because the rent would be cheaper and youd get a view of the buhairah (beautiful) and the apartments are MUCH bigger and villas in zahia ate even nicer

I live in Canada and we got washer and drawer combo for our airbnb suite. Totally regret it. First off it's small so it doesn't fit large loads well but the worst part is it takes FOREVER to do a load. No exaggeration. I advise you not to get one!

Salam alaykum. I am not sure if you really need a drying machine in Dubai. The weather is always so hot and sunny that the laundry dries within some hours. Our family in Dubai does it without dryer.
