A lot of sweating is much better then not sweating. Sweating cools them down, not sweating is a problem. A horse that has trouble sweating will overheat a lot quiker and because off that they tend to be slow horses. Maybe you can try and wett Storm with water during the ride.

Here’s a tip! When putting your saddles away, but socks over the stirrups and the leathers! It prevents scratching

I’m so exited to see gabby and chino grow together in their relationship❤️after he’s all better from his minor injuries, I just finished my horse show on Sunday, went pretty good not as good as Saturday but still good(great learning experience)

When thinking about purchasing a horse, It might be a good option or idea to send close up straight on and sideways pictures of the horse’s legs and hooves to your vet and Ferrier so they can see bone and joint angles and confirmation so they can give their opinion on being able to carry weight and any other issues.

That is great that you are thinking that you should take the time to train them to come to you at the gate of the turn out area. You should bring a halter and a lead rope with you and at least just put it on and clip it and then take it off and reward even if you’re not taking them out. Just so that they know to expect it or can expect it every time you come to the gate. Working with horses from the ground or in the saddle is all about preparation.

Sam works so hard and i feel like they kinda just ignore him or maybe just off camera they do more stuff with him and I hope so. But we do not see all there life. I’m just thinking from seeing him more today in the vid he works hard and they don’t really appreciate all he does. He should have an sam appreciation day!!!!! love you guys

Finn with his back feet .. it might just be balance ? My boy was the same , struggled so much to pick now he’s stronger he’s okay . I can’t wait till u get ur horse 🤩 nice to see Sam open the vlog . My boy had a meltdown over a tractor thing while hacking alone on our track had to walk around it .. he wanted to bolt . Lol there was an open field next to us , but I never allow it , I just talked to him the whole time then we walked past without spins or bolting ☺️ thankfully 😅

Sophie and Finns bond is really so amazing. When I get my own horse (I have a loan horse atm so I don’t want to get a really close bond because I’ll have to move on some day) I want to have a bond with it like those two ❤️

This would be a fun thing for Sophie, but hold a treat slightly above the chickens head and they will jump😂 It is the funniest thing ever omg. You could do jump courses lol they jump pretty high! Cant wait to meet the chicks and the new horse!

Hey Laura! Love your channel! You were talking about a fanny pack for your saddle I just thought I should let you know that there are these things called saddle sacks that actually strap on to your saddle and they are super cute and come in soooo many colors I personally love them! They are actually owned by another horse RU-vidr called Fallon Taylor! Hope this helps!

What is the fuss about the kitten climbing around the barn? Cats are going to climb anywhere they can, and they have great balance so they won’t fall. My barn cat jumps up from the feed buckets in the stalls to the top of the stall to find birds and she isn’t even full grown yet

We use special formula. In the states its called today or tomorrow. Its for cows with mastitis. It works for what looks like thrush but is actually something else.

So next week i might start lessons again at a new barn!!! ( I will let you know next week ) So at this new barn its kinda more serious bc i want to go far and have it in my future! So my dad told the trainer that i was jumping 2 3’ and the highest I have jumped is 3’ and i was like DAD I JUMPED 2 3’ A YEAR AGO AND 3 FEET IS SUPER HIGH. and he just said that i will end up jumping it anyway and I have to push myself. Soooo lets hope I don’t die next week bc i have not ridden in 4-5 months haha

Not trying to be hateful just helpful. It is not safe for a outdoor/barn cat to wear a collar because when they climb their collars can get caught on things and kill them.

They wear breakaway collars so they unclip when caught on things

@@karismaengland4330 My kitten had a breakaway collar and she got it caught in her mouth and couldnt get it off, She started to choke and thank goodness we were there or she would have snapped her jaw. So even breakaway collars could do damage. Especially barn cats because you are not there to monitor them all the time.

They arent monitored at all times either I would 100% agree if they were fully roaming but they still only have access to the barn only (correct me if im wrong) But again I'm not really experienced in that field so🤷‍♀️ Im glad you were there to help your cat😊
