I don't think I've ever seen two people more excited to take care of a baby. You guys are so wholesome and just the sweetest people. Story is so lucky to have you two as her parents.
Where some parents argue over who's doing more than the other, you guys fight over who GETS to do more than the other lol. I loveeee that you compete over who GETS to put her to bed. She is truly, deeply and genuinely loved! Thank you for loving her that way. ❤
I have a newborn myself and it’s so easy to take for granted and/or get overwhelmed and you two are such a sweet reminder to cherish every moment. I really appreciate you for that. 🥰🥰🥰
Story Belle is one of the cutest baby I've ever seen. She always smiling, and she feels so happy. It's easy to understand, it will be enough to just look at her little cute eyes
Hi Della, You CAN actually nurse an adoptive baby. It comes from the pituitary gland. You wear an sns kit with tiny tubes that tape onto your breasts . You fill it with formula or donated milk and your body helps make a little bit on its own. I did this with 2 of my adopted children. Enjoy!!!
My husband and I started putting our two year old down together and she loves it so much. She always looks at us and asks “together?” It’s the sweetest.
hey guys silent follower here! just wanted to pop in and say that i’m so happy for you guys. like i’m seriously emotional over seeing y’all become parents and I just wanted to say thanks for everything you do. I love y’all so much !!!
Isn’t it amazing how something so tiny can have such a big impact on our lives! Love like that can’t be explained it’s a feeling you will forever have ❤ I’m so happy for you guys!!!
Totally agree. The doggy seems to be pretty neglected as their focus - quite naturally - is on their new baby. But the pup needs love and attention too.
I admire how these parents have embraced the whole deal about parenting💚. being supportive of each other while looking after an infant is the way to go💪💪💪
Story reminds me of a little elf! Cute, cute, cute! My daughter doesn't want kids so I can only admire grandbabies from afar! You guys deserve to be happy! ❤
It was really nice to see Dylan put story down to sleep for once she got the chance to experience her daddy putting her down for bed that’s good to take turns and allow the dads to play a major role as well ❤❤
Don't you find it even more magical that she looks like you both! I was adopted 51 years ago and my parents are the BEST! So glad I found your page I love watching you both you are beaming..
Bella that feeling of total love and excitement to see your little girl.. that doesn’t go away. I still have that feeling and my daughter is 13. Love seeing the Della life in your videos. 😘🥰
You two as parents just make me so happy! I don’t want children but it fills my heart so much when people who do get that opportunity and adoption is one of the best things in this world! Story is going to be surrounded with so much love 🥰🥰
Just a thought, if she's going 8pm until 3am thats 7 hours. Half wake her at around 10.30pm for a "twilight feed", she might go 7 hours through the night. Good luck ❤
i actually put my baby to bed at 10.30 hoping for a wake up call at 6am … works pretty good , he does wake up once or twice just for a little hug but no bottle
I can tell how much you guys are cherishing every moment, that baby will grow up knowing just how much she was wanted and prayed for. Also have you considered a dream feed? It might help her stay asleep longer at night 😊💜
@@thedoorisstillopen “A dream feed is a late-night feeding that you give your baby right before you head off to bed, usually around two or three hours after you've put your little one down for the night.” That’s the definition from what to expect. It’s feeding a baby while they’re sleepy (literally take them out of the bassinet and start to feed them) right before you go to bed, to have their tummy be full for the duration of your sleep, so you’re hopefully not waking up during the night with them, and therefore are well-rested. It works for some, not for others. But worth a try to see if it works in a routine to help with sleep!
I was replying to the mean person who said "why say that twice" not the person being helpful explaining what a dream feed is because someone asked her to.
This video brought back memories of when my son was little I’ve said this before, It’s The Toughest Job You’ll Ever Love!! I absolutely was ready for him my only one it can get crazy at times but it’s just the life of being a parent!! Thanks for sharing your memories with us!! Love all y’all ❣️❣️❣️
I absolutely love watching your little family - so cute. You are such great parents and appreciate every moment of Story’s life. You deserve such a precious darling and all of you are truly blessed!🤗
Ya'll are such an inspirational, genuinely loving family, with eager commitment to be great parents, and share your love with a beautiful daughter!! It just is so sweet! You both are great parents that have already got your routine down. Yes enjoy every minute, its very obvious Story is. She is a doll baby, beautiful princess, just curious, really not my business, but will Story have siblings? As great as you both are at being parents, I think a houseful would so fun to watch. Y'all are so fun to watch! I love it!!! Keep your videos coming!! Ty for sharing and caring, the world needs more parents just like you!!
I never got to experience what you both are now, but can totally understand all these precious memories you are making with your beautiful daughter Story. Blessings to you all.
So happy for the 3 of you! Babies are God's blessings & you two definitely love that sweet blessing. You're doing great parenting & she's sleeping longer ... very soon she will sleep through the night, you're in the home stretch! 😊
This is something you guys deserved so much I’ve watched yous for years and knowing how desperately yous wanted a baby I cried when I found out you where adopting she is absolutely beautiful
Story is so precious! 💗 I’m glad she sleeps so well for you but don’t be worried if she has sleep regression at 3 months and is fussy. It’s very normal. They usually have a growth spurt around that time. ☺️ I like that you show the realistic part if things and not try to make it look perfect. 😊
That’s so great that you take the time and thank god and notice that you are living in the days you prayed for most of the time we do not even notice Weare living in the time we prayed for everyday and we may complain or even just let it fly right by our eyes without taking the time to notice it and to thank god .
