I actually recorded this months ago, and we're still pleased as punch with this method. In fact, my husband prefers this method to actual toilet paper!

For a while I did submerge the cloths in a 50/50 water/vinegar solution, but when I started having to make my own vinegar I stopped doing so, and we haven't had any mold issues just tossing the cloths in the bucket. I do have to do a load of laundry every 3-4 days though, but I don't have to buy toxic toilet paper anymore! Plus, there's that pesky issue that toilet paper today sends me into anaphylaxis. Everything is getting saturated with toxic sanitizers!
I spritz the bucket and lid with my homemade vinegar whenever I wash the contents, but otherwise that's about it. If you're like me and don't tolerate toxic crud, this is something to consider.
