My parents left me in the car once, when attending a relative’s wedding in a different city. Both my older siblings and my parents forgot me in the car and didn’t know I was missing from the wedding because both of them thought I was with the other. The wedding was 3 hours long and I was 4, asleep in an unlocked car.

My mum is not an immigrant and she also forgot to pick me up uncountable times 🤣🤣 then when sometimes I had been sitting at the school doors for more than an hour, the principal would leave the building and I was still not picked up, then she would get angry with me because I wasn't at home yet, studying my school material, " like a good girl should, instead of sitting on the doorstep " yeah right, like it was my fault that my mom always lost track of time cleaning and so on. I think that's were my depressive roots were born 🤣 I'm alright now, dough. I learnt to entertain myself from of very young age, as I don't have any brothers or sisters either, it was always me, myself and I, then they wonder why, from the age of 12, I started wearing Hip Hop clothes. 🤣🤣🤣

US born. Once my kid bro was born, I was not only considered self efficient, I became a “mom” to said brother. I wasn’t expected to care for him until I had moved out! What the hell??? They are the reason they don’t have grandchildren. I was tired!
