Love your videos John, you got me into prairie gardening. Can I just say in the nicest way your enthusiasm reminds me of my fellow Scott Billy Connolly. Thanks for naming all the plants you use, a huge help. Regards Jimmy

I wish I could visit Ireland, , your garden John would be my fist stop. Greetings from Canada. Thank you for your inspiring videos. This year we had to take down 3 ash trees because of the disease,. This changed the sun exposure of our garden, so I am moving plants around. I rely on your videos to inspire and guide me through this phase.. Funny thing I have a lot of the plants you are recommending 😀

It is more beautiful than any "real" prairie garden. Stunning. In the beginning, what was the tall, light flowering, plant in the back beside the Joe Pye weed? I wish the garden centers here carried these plants. I have been looking all over for sanguisorba and would also love many others including veronicastrum and actaea.

The plant beside the Joe Pye weed is possibly aruncus dioicus, known as goat's beard

Great looking garden. Do you have any bee hives? They would love it there. If you don't feel like cutting any of that down when the time comes, just unleash an army of pigs, sheep, or goats.

It's a sanguisorba. In a later video he mentions sanguisorba hakusanensis but I'm not sure if it's in the same part of the border
