I agree with the others here. Those curtains are far past their prime and what a shame because they are gorgeous! In the future, just for reference, the best way I've found to get that 'vintage' smell out of stuff (or even laundry detergent/dryer sheet/fabreeze smells) is to leave the item outside to air for a week or two. Fresh air and sunshine cures many smell ills! I LOOOOVE the new decor! It's the colors of my youth. The home I grew up in was gold and brown and olive green back in the 70's. The mushrooms and sunflowers are very cute and don't forget about owls and daisies. They were also icons of the 70's decor. I can feel your frustration over Floyd's behavior towards you. My guess is he's finally beginning to feel a bit of sibling jealousy now that the newness of baby sister has worn off. Who can blame him for being jealous of not having ALL your attention any more? Just keep loving him and giving him all the attention you can. Most of all remember that you are doing nothing wrong. His reactions are normal at this age. Hang in there. You'll figure it out. 🥰

Yup...curtains have to go. As for nap time...I used to have the toddler help put the baby to bed. Read a story, feed the baby, let's be quiet now, then we sneak out. It was fun Franny sure loves her brother!

You don't have to answer this, but I'm wondering why does Franny go to a chiropractor? She's just so little! I'm happy for Chad and his new job too! I recommend getting something less stressfull. Maybe just cotton you can dye, or canvas paint drop cloth in beige, maybe painting it yourself.

I don't know about those curtains, Ashley. Is it possible to return them? Everything is looking so cute in your little house, and I can tell how much you love it. I hope Frannie is better. Littles being sick is so stressful. It seems everyone is finding their groove ❤

get rid of the curtain, its shedding and thats not good for you or the kids. You could get new curtains and dye it to give you that vintage look and much safer for you and the kids. Those fine particles could ending up causing trouble over time.

The curtains are cute, do you know what synthetic fabric it is ? I read that rayon is super bad , even the workers that handle it get bad effects. Personally I would change it if I had a baby but that’s just me I’m a super careful first time mom
