ℹ️ IN THIS EPISODE: We do some final preparation for our last leg of our 6 month RV Living journey. We take a look back at a few of our most memorable moments and we arrive back at home in Lovettsville, Virginia with an emotional end :(
Is our RV life over?
We would like to thank you all for joining us on our adventures. Prior to this trip we had not ever had an RV before and were total newbies. We have learned so much, not just about RV'ing, but American history, American culture, geography, videography, youtubing, but most of all, we have learned so much more about ourselves and each other. Yeah, we know, that sounds corny, but it's so true.

What an emotional watch that was. Sad that you had to cut your adventure short, Gutted for you both. Great to see the high lights, the love and respect you have for each other is such an inspiration and wonderful to see. then that walk back into the house, your dream not quite fulfilled, shattering to see you both gutted and emotionally drained and sad. no words can express what I feel at this moment, sad but proud of you both. I remember being out with you guys last year when you were still figuring out all of the details, I can’t believe it’s all over already!! Sad that it ended early, but I’m excited for season 2🤪

Didn’t really know what to say. I think that said it all really 🤷‍♂️. We like to be positive, but also wanted to show real life and that’s just how it was. Didn’t help that we had driven for 10 hours and cleared out the trailer and fixed our flooded basement 🤣

WOW! Having trouble writing this because we can't see through our tears. We have followed you for so long we feel you are a part of our life. Although it was a very melancholy video and we are crying like babies, it is possibly the best one you have done. Thank you for sharing your journey with us, thank you for sharing a part of your life with us. Thank you for being you. And PLEASE don't let this be the end of your RV adventure, we love you guys. All that being said, WHAT THE BLOODY HELL! You made us feel like you were going back to England and we would never see you again. ESPECIALLY when you ended it with a sad face and no comment just "CLICK!". BUT, it was a great video and we are blessed that you guys just live up the road apiece and we will be able to get together soon. Still love you guys Chief, Dee and Lucy🐾 P.S. We would walk with a gas can a couple of miles before we would buy Exxon.

Thank you guys, such a lovely message! Sorry for any distress and upset we caused, that wasn’t our intention. We also genuinely try to be positive about things and often laugh things off, but facing reality that we had to return home early was a hard pill to swallow and we try not to hide how we are feeling (same with when we got robbed and when Roxy bloated). But, we are home and making the most of it now. Really looking forward to meeting up with you guys! It WILL happen!

Oh man, we so feel your pain. We had to do that back in mid-March. We did NOT want to come home. This was our retirement trip and this just stinks. We still aren't sure what we are going to do after Aug.1, but hopefully we will figure it out. We know you will too. Hang in there. And stay safe. Thanks for all you do...

What an amazing 6 months of unforgettable adventures! Beautifully moving video montage to celebrate your 6 months of RV travel. Life is filled with unknowns, the key is having confidence that as life happens you'll know what to do... it's ok to go home for while and before you know it... you will be back on the road again if that's what you want to do. :-)

Well we finally had a chance to watch this video. We felt the same way about cutting our trip short and heading home because of the pandemic. Your expression at the end is how I've been feeling since last Tuesday when we got back from hanging out with the Waggs.

Yeah, we were like that for a few weeks. Still are to a point, but we have so much to do on the farm that it kinda keeps us busy. Still can’t wait to get back out. I use the RV as my office now even though I have a big office, desk and 50” monitor in the house 🤣

Hello from Canada. Just finished watching season 1. I love your sense of humor! Like you, my husband and I are planning on a travel adventure next year. All we need is a trailer and tow vehicle. We will be travelling with our pups (Sam & Ella), so it should make for an interesting trip. Once the borders are open, I hope you come and visit our great large country. I'll buy you a coffee!!

Hi Cathy! The trailer and tow vehicle are quite an important part of RVing, so we agree that you should get those sorted before setting off 😜 We were very close to moving to Canada. We visited friends back in 2012 (Ottawa area) and loved it. We rented a car and traveled from Ottawa to Niagara Falls via Toronto. When we moved to the US, we would also drive up from Virginia to visit them. Fantastic place and we definitely plan to take a trip and visit. Where in Canada do you live?

@@BrazenBrits We live on the Prairies in Winnipeg Manitoba. My husband is from Newfoundland, beautiful area. You must visit western Canada, British Columbia in the summer. I want the Grand Design Image 22RBE and my husband wants the Rockwood Mini Lite 2506S (for the outdoor kitchen) Stay tuned for the winner!
