After years of digging, our search for the river of Gold has paid off. The legends of an ancient river loaded with placer Gold in black sands are true and what I found in the sluice box was my biggest pan of Gold yet. Tons of flour Gold with Nuggets. Got Gold Fever yet.

The amount of Gold coming out of our Drift mine is absolutely legendary and we are pushing deeper and advancing our heading into the older river Channel to get even more. We decided it was time to fabricate our own ore car so we can transport more material which means more Gold. that wooden ore cart is nothing short of cool. on a side note... i spotted something else which looks cool a few days ago, in a video(uncharted x) on the unfinished obelisk of aswan, egypt. the obelisk site has been carved to resemble a herringbone sluice(1 side fast flow for crushing ore, the other side slow for the placer collection). the obelisk itself has fine riffles on top of it and i can only assume, the finer riffles on top were for separating the flour from the black sand. the dynastic egyptians had an affinity to and for auro. makes sense that they would own the worlds largest, hand carved sluice, back in the day. awesome show jeff.

Jeff, just watched Frank's video on "The Collaboration " and heard you mention transferring VHS to DIGITAL. Hook your VCR to a DVD RECORDER. That's the way I do all my VHS tapes onto DVD Discs and it works great. Make sure you format the discs before recording. Drop me a line if you have a problem.

Ive seen a video yesterday about wierd animals they found in the "???" Somethin trench... The deapest trench in the ocean... Anyways. They shower some images of some red worms. Maybe the waterbed isnt too far of how deep you dig down there.

Are you sure you can't make the rock fall directly into the cart as you knock it off the wall instead of dropping it on the floor then shoveling it up into the cart? Let gravity do the work for you. Perhaps your 'track pad' is a long canoe-like or water-trough-like scoop with one end in the cart and fill the down end then tilt it up higher than the cart and slide all that material right in the cart.

G,day Jeff, I must say I do so thoroughly enjoy the drift mine episodes, looks like you've got some pretty serious load bearing material, it's great and really interesting to see the actual ancient river bed, man it's pretty exciting stuff. I don't know if you watch any of the RU-vid channels of the Australian prospectors, but there's a few who have been hitting some excellent ground, both untouched ground and also redigging Olde 1800,s ground previously mined by hand, anyway,in both cases they've been coming up with some hefty nuggets 20 ounce and bigger, from what I'm seeing there in your drift mine, sure looks promising, be good to see you strike upon that motherload. G'day Avan, we do to ....so much fun especially seeing all that Gold makes that blood get a pumping.... yes we love to watch several of them especially where they dug where the Old Timers dug ....thats like what we are doing and the reef Gold the found that produced many ounces of specimen Gold..... Those old timers, half of what they found in Victoria fell out between the claim and the creek there was that much of it and they were in such a hurry to get it washed. All over Australia, planes are doing survey work with new tech, looking for gold, silver and copper and they are finding rivers of it. Just like the old days, if you have a strong back you can strike it lucky today. Bloody hard ground in WA, hard to dig a hole as deep as the new detectors want you to dig, but in WA in the bush, if its deep its gold. WA is about a third of the size of the USA with 3 men and a dog living there honestly if you go looking in WA you cant not find gold, half of it is on the surface, just covered in red dust.

I am so jealous of you Jeff, I found a man here in AK that I was possibly going to go prospecting with but his second bought with Covid took him and Covid really screwed up my life also to the point where my prospecting ability is really limited. I was going to say the first thing would be to bring down a cart but then as a fart smeller and a good one at that I said to myself; smash that like button and smash it hard then, back to the gold!!! Out of your entire mine that is the best panout I have seen so far. Nice work Jeff and I remember the Mercury dimes when I was a kid in the 1960s. Those were the good old days for coin collectors. Recently, I have been checking those green change machines one finds in stores and I recently picked up a Barber dime out of one. Used to get Barber dimes all the time when I was a kid. It would be nice if one could get enough gold to mint coins the way the Kellogg company did in the 1850s in California.
