Hello, Many people say in the comments that I fear the way I will be treated when visiting Iraq. I answered him with the following reply. We do not hate any nationality in the world despite the strange things you hear about us. We are a peaceful and friendly people. We are glad to see tourists in our country. We will not take money from you. When you buy something, the doors of our homes open to welcome you, you are welcome and we are glad to have you 🫵🏻🤍
I am Iraqi living in Canada . I was very happy to see people from all around the world visiting my county . Thank you for letting the world know the real fo IRAQ
@@misterright9017 Iraqi government released a report about foreign tourists who visited Iraq in 2021: 4.9 Million only. No report yet for 2022. Do you have a source?
@@ronnienestor he's talking about unofficial pilgrims from neighbouring countries during religious events as well that's why he said around 20 million
Thank you and your friend from the heart for showing the true face of Iraq and that Iraq is a safe country and not as the media portrays it. We are a good and generous people and we love foreign tourists.
Very good perspective on how Baghdad is today. As an American I would be too afraid of how I would be treated to visit this amazing historical country . Thank you for sharing this experience with us.
I honestly don't think that the Iraqi people cares where you come from, what nationality you are. They have more important business to deal with such as re building their country, promoting tourism, earning a living etc etc. They are an intelligent race and the majority are quite liberal and tolerate.
Do not be afraid, you are among your family and brothers We don't even hate the Jews. We are a good and tolerant people, and you Americans are not our enemies...Ron v
I traveld from Basra all the way to the Erbil and had a great time best people great food and cheap transport and one thing for sure you don't get ripped off , I walked 2 in the morning never had any problems .
This is one cool informative video on modern day Iraq. Thanks for sharing Baghdad to the world 🌍 Cheers and greetings from a Filipino in Baghdad, Iraq. Hoping I can still catch you around.
I would like to ask whether ISIS And other terror organisations still have hold of some areas or not ??? Please let me know in detail ,it is just so alluring to look at a city which is portrayed exactly opposite in media as it was shown in this vids

Very interesting trip. Baghdad seems like a great city to visit, especially the food and markets. Just back yesterday from a trip to Gdansk after your recommendations. Thank you.
Hey, so nice to see Western tourists around in Baghdad. Hope you enjoyed your time! Just a heads up, that's not a female Ali Baba, that's Morgiana, who plays a pivotal part in the Alibaba and the 40 thieves story :)
4:15 Molly, it's interesting to me that you find the "Ali Baba" monument to be "so random". I'm sure you know by now that Baghdad is home to a number of historical landmarks and monuments, each with its own unique story to tell. This particular monument is the statue of Kahramana, a symbol of resilience and strength that stands tall in the heart of the city. The fact that it was built five decades ago is a testimony to the talent of all Iraqi artists. I don’t think there is any other Arab country that showcases a contemporary work of art depicting a female heroine in the middle of their streets. The statue of Kahramana is more than just a piece of art; it is a powerful symbol of hope and inspiration. It serves as a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope for a brighter future. As Iraq continues to rebuild and move forward, the statue of Kahramana will remain a beacon of hope for generations to come.
Hello, I am an Iraqi who lives in US, thank you for showing the bright side of Iraq. But, just FYI is that I raw is the first country in the world who invented beer like 7000 years ago. Mesopotamia was the old name of Iraq which means the two rivers valley.

Alshaheed monument was designed by the late Ismail Fattah Alturk, but it was executed by the Japanese. As for Kahrumana statue ( or Marjana, as she was named in The Arabian Nights) she was the bright maid of Ali Baba who stumbled across the cave (that opens with the magical password Open Sesame) where the gang of 40 thieves hid their treasures, and after finding out that the treasures were taken away by Ali Baba, they tried a camouflage by hiding inside 40 pots, and were introduced into Ali's house by their boss who pretended to be a merchant passing by asking for a place to sleep at, but that scheme was discovered by the smart maid Kahrumana who poured hot oil into the 40 pots. Nice work you got there covering different Iraqi landmarks 👍
Watching from the Caribbean and I would love to go to Baghdad, it looks very interesting. I hope the people will accept us, and not be angered by our presence.
Yes dont worry iraqi peoples are stupit and thy never hate or be angry about anyone even those wons has destroying or country and kill about halv million without any reason just thy are blood thersty and thy wana try thir new weapons thats all
Unfortunately as a Saudi I can’t travel to Iraq because its banned unless you have relatives you can apply for an exemption People of Iraq are nice, generous, and respectful regardless of their religion or sect ( shia or sunni ) May Allah help them to rebuild their country and prosper 💙
@@mohammedkh4321 I can’t because one of the conditions to get the permit is “ providing a valid reason for visiting Iraq” which is vague and many people I know got their requests rejected and when they asked informally differed some will tell him that because he has no first cousins in Iraq or he is under the age of 40 I would really love to visit Iraq and inshallah I will but now financially I’m not ready

Welcome . I am happy to watch the video. My name is Jaafar, from Iraq, the city of Najaf. Come to the city of Najaf, an ancient city, and it contains the shrine of Imam Ali, the ancient mosque of Kufa, and the largest cemetery in the world. And I would be very, very happy if you accepted my invitation to lunch at my house in the city of Najaf, which is close to all the tourist places. my regards
Just a fun fact: The diamond-looking bread actually is of Georgian origins called (shotis puri). The technique was adapted by the Armenians who later brought the idea to Iraq after the Armenian genocide.
Hello dabble, I hope you will be happy on your trip and I also hope that you will visit the city of Muthanna, where the oldest city in history is Sumerian Uruk, where writing was invented for the first time in history.
Iraq has most of the famous ancient civilizations in the Middle East, including the Sumerian, Assyrian and Babylonian civilizations, in addition to 600 years of Arab and Islamic civilization found in Iraq Iraq is very important for tourists who love history and antiquities
I am Malaysian with many Iraqi friends. To those who have a very limited knowledge about Iraq, let me tell you something; IT IS SAFE TO VISIT IRAQ AND DONT LET MEDIA DESTROY YOUR PERCEPTION ABOUT IRAQ. It is a beautiful country and people are very kind and friendly.
Fermentation is implemented first by Sumerian’s (Iraqis) so they made the first beer for humans a few hundred years later they invented the distillation method in Baghdad and gave it the name Alcohol .(please Chat GBT it or maybe google it)
How sad is it that all you care about is having a cheap beer in Baghdad...is that why Iraq is great? As a European Muslim, I actually feel sad that they would even sell you the beer over there.
Awesome part two guys very funny with Molly and the snake and also viewing the park where the statue was taken down by the American’s really cool so thank you for sharing and I’m looking forward to the next one so take care and catch you in the next one
Just found your videos on RU-vid while searching for ones from Baghdad. Great. I will probably be going to Baghdad in about 2 weeks from now. Just waiting for my visa. I am from Norway and therefore I will need one. Did you have a driver/guide for your whole trip or did you also travel around by yourself? If you should choose 2 places outside Baghdad, which one would you choose? I am a woman 60+ traveling the world by myself 🙂
Hey! That’s amazing. Good for you. We had a driver and translator purely for ease, making videos and trying to navigate checkpoints is more difficult so we’d recommend having someone to help you out. You can contact the tour company for help on your trip if you need to 🥰♥️
@@dabbleandtravel Thank you. I am traveling without a tour company. Which one are you using, if it is possible for you to inform me of that 🙂I went to Kurdistan way back in 2017 and had the perfect driver/guide there 🙂
Night clubs aren't a rumor in Baghdad, you can find them in Al-Karadah and Al-mansour area. Also 4-5 stars hotels usually has bar and night club in Iraq with exception to holy cities.
