Tim and Jenn: THANK YOU for these hotel reviews. The resorts should be falling all over themselves "paying" you to promote their resorts. You guys are excellent ambassadors for Central Florida and your videos are nothing short of awesome. This channel HAS indeed evolved in the RIGHT direction. If people go back and look at Tim's first videos from 10 years ago he was just another "cool dude" goofing off, and those are fun to watch, but this is a light-years evolution. The best decision you guys made was to start focusing on your Disney/Universal stuff. Now the theme parks and resorts are starting to give you "official member of the media" access as they SHOULD be. I also love the cooking/taste test/restaurant vlogs. And your personalities are still down-to-earth and pleasant. Please please please keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing the magic and a piece of your lives with all of us. A tip on hotel rooms: Buy a little box of earplugs to wear when you go to sleep.
Tim & Jenn have started doing hotel/condo/timeshare tours because so many commentors were asking for them to do so in pretty much every video they released. Since they are so honest, people seem to like and trust what they are saying. Thank you Tim and Jenn for your input and effort. If a hotelier/timeshare company wants you to stay and check them out, then you guys are doing something RIGHT, and the companies know it. Good or bad, I am sure you will always tell the truth. Again, thanks- keep up the GREAT WORK
I have a home resort, as well as points to use. I love seeing my options on different resorts in the area. I love that anyone in my family can watch any of their videos, because of clean language and content. It makes me happy that they are getting these opportunities that can help them financially, and help us prepare for our vacations by giving realistic and honest feedback!
Stayed there in September for our daughter's 4th birthday. We rental a car and drove to Legoland and she really enjoyed it - She talks about it almost everyday! Keep up the good work guys.

People progress and grow and some of us can grow with them and still enjoy the videos, while some people might be better off unsubscribing.
People complain if they spend too much time on the home vlogs , they complain if they spend too much time at Disney, they complain if they do resort tours etc etc. seriously the complaining is out of hand. They aren't doing anything different than any other RU-vidr out there, these poor people do nothing but try to entertain us and creeps out there threaten to rob them when they are away, but they still work hard to do these videos despite the creeps out there! This is the very reason Adam the woo quit, we don't want this to happen to the trackers too! Stay strong!
I am glad you guys are growing and are able to do more things like this. The wife and I enjoy your at home vlogs as well. We don't mind where you go or what you film. It could be a 12 minute vlog about Bandit and that would be cool. But with popularity it also leads to headaches for you guys as well and having to deal with complainers and people who haven't been here since the beginning. I hope you don't take it to heart. Your supporters have your back Tim and Jenn!

This place is our little secret- #1 book through Expedia. It is easily the cheapest 4 Star in Orlando. #2 they have free shuttles to all of the parks. Which is great!!! Food mart is not too expensive. #3 beware of the ghost wings at drafts. Yowzer!! Tim and Jen! Great review!!
I am loving all the reviews you have been doing lately, I have been debating a trip to Florida soon and it is giving me a lot to think about. I love that you give honest reviews and not afraid to show your true opinions of places. Thank you for what you both do.
It think it's a fair review. My family have owned there for some time but other than the first couple of times, we've never been given the hard sale. We do have a 'representative' who still tries to upsell us, but this is usually no more than about an hour now, including a tour of the upgraded facilities. After that, I'm left to my own devices for the rest of the time. It's changed a bit in the two years since I was there last - Drafts was just being prepared, in fact that whole building had only been finished to allow parking! Sid's is massive now. It used to be a little convenience store a couple of minutes away from the new location. As for the noise, it is an unfortunate by product of having a building with tiled floors and quite thin walls, but noise pollution is indicative of most hotel/resorts so I tend not to be too upset by too much noise unless it's when I'm trying to sleep. Well done guys...! Hope to see you out there next year when I come back!

We shared your video on Facebook with our friends and family so they could see what the resort was like as well. We enjoy all your videos and all the information that we get them. We have been watching for several years now and will continue to watch. Before I ride a new ride, I watch your video; so I know if I'm going to be able to handle it or not LOL.
Reading through the comments I'm surprised by the number of people that are being so negative. Your goal as I understood it was to allow us a peak into your world. Your vision has changed or evolved from before so why we anyone be surprised now. I love your visits to the parks but there's more to life than just that. Keep up the good work Tim & Jenn. @Tim and Jenn. I've watched you for years now. I stumbled upon your videos thanks to Tim's love for horror nights. I just wanted to say keep up the good work. Yes you guys have evolved and changed as we all have over the years. The fact the channel now receives some negativity just means you've made it. In show business they say there is no such thing as bad publicity. It's only bad when nobody is talking about you. I find it disgusting that anyone would threaten you, and I'm not even sure what their motive would be as you have the most neutral content. I too live in the Orlando area and I don't understand why people can't respect your privacy. You guys could be my neighbors and it wouldn't matter to me. Anyways keep up the videos you have plenty of supporters please don't let any negativity bring you down.
I know this video is 3 years old. But I just booked the same room for my upcoming trip to Disney world in January. You guys and the resort had me sold 😊
We went there 17 years ago. BOY!---has it changed! It was special when we went there, but it's spectacular now. I do remember watching the Disney fireworks from our balcony. Have fun!
Yeah it is me and my family have a timeshare here we love every moment of it it might be a little bit outdated but memories are very good here the place has 14 pools like you don’t need that many but every time we go I make it my mission to get in every single one

Really really depends on the allergy. My nephew has a deadly allergy to peanuts and most people don’t realize how easily the oils can spread. It is just safer to eat food you make than risk his health. Besides it is lots cheeper and healthier to cook some of your own food if you are staying for more than a night or two. We saved a ton of money by doing our own food most days in Disney, then splurged on two nice dinners.
I stayed here with my family over the summer and absolutely loved it. We stayed near the front and I never really left the pool near our room because it was so amazing with the bar and restaurant so close by. I didn’t realize how big the resort was, and seeing all of the cool stuff I missed out on makes me want to go back again and experience it all!
Yall have great content, and Yall do a wonderful job in bringing great information to all of us here on your channel, my daughter and I look forward to all of your hotel/resort vids as well as your theme park vids. Keep up the great work yall!!!
Thank you for this tour I was going to another hotel called la quinta hotel then I went on your channel and saw this and I was so excited when it wasnt bad and had things to do because we went as an family and the apartment sized hotel was amazing, so thanks for making this tour
Great review! We stayed at Westgate Lakes about 20 years ago. It sure has changed! I got real excited when you said you'd been invited to stay and do a review. The units are great because when vacationing with family, you can save a bundle by preparing many of your own meals. You're correct Jenn, it does feel like home when we stay for several weeks. Tip, see if you can get a top floor when you check in, at least you won't hear the kid riding his razor all night. ;) Many many thanks again for sharing, keep up the good work guys!
Me and my family have been owners at Westgate since 1995! Best resort in Orlando! We use to own at Lakes but now own at town center which is bigger than the lakes!

I am loving the reviews. You are very honest no matter if they have hosted you or you are doing it on your own and for that i am thankful. The reason i am writing is to ask how ya liked the rain type shower? They look so cool but didnt k ow if they were worth the money.
I own a room here and a few bad things I know that you wouldn't learn unless you stay there for a while is that they only clean the room once a week and if you are out late at the parks or eatin or anything you won't find a parking spot close to your room We usually have to park a few minutes walk away
I really enjoyed this video. I have heard of the Westgate Lakes Resort, but I have never been there. It was nice to see what it's really like there. AND - especially to see the rooms. Definitely looks like a nice place to take the family! Thank you and keep up the great work.

My family and I stood here a few times. The best time was during a Halloween Horror Nights trip. 2 bedroom suites are actually the best. large, clean, and near the lake where we can see out. It was so lovely to stay here and we still wish to come back, but it is so dang expensive sometimes honestly.
I'm staying there when I go with my family in January! We have stayed there before, but it looks like they have done a ton of renovations. I'm very excited after watching this!

Hi Tim and Jen, I used to own a 3 bedroom condo at Westgate Lakes. It was great but now I have one at the Grand Floridian and it is much better! Love your blog, Dave
Love these hotel tours. Considering staying off property whenever we get a chance to go again. For noise at night in hotels, I always bring a sound machine for white noise. It really helps to block out noise from outside the room, or from a loud heating AC unit. I have a friend who uses ear plugs, which I do travel with just in case. I have only used them once, in New York City though.
I've stayed at pretty much all of the orlando resorts, Including this one, if you want a huge resort, Check out orange lake, it's the biggest resort in orlando, you practically have to drive to get from one end to another
TheTimTracker it's on US 192 in kissimme Florida by the way I stay at most of the westgate resorts since my family is a VIP owner. The Westgate Palace or Westgate villas is better in my opinion but Westgate lakes and Palace has the best location since both is close to everything.
Jeremiah Jackson I can agree on the fact that Westgate lakes is in a great location, especially if you're going to universal or idrive, but the problem with Westgate, is that if you're not an owner, they charge for stuff that most resorts would give for free, like the gym, or the Internet, whereas orange lake gives both of those things completly free, and they also have the pretty good sized free waterpark, which Westgate also charges for, I like Westgate, but there fees are just too much, at least in my opinion.
I really love you two and your videos, this is just my personal experience and opinion to help others considering staying here! We got moved here from the Westgate on I-Drive due to Irma, and it was awful! Mainly because all the staff there seemed to be liars and would tell you one thing that was completely false, and another person would tell you another thing, also false! We spoke to about 3 managers, none of which wanted to help! We heard "we'll call you back" at least 6 times, and we never heard from them again and when we would go and ask about it again, they would say they had absolutely no record of our questions/complaints being logged, also no resolve to any issues, one example (of many) was that our door wouldn't open one night, so one of us walked back to reception (from block 300) and we were told "someone will be there soon" we waited for 30 minutes, still no show, so we went back and asked again, they said they had no idea we were waiting for them, then they came with us, at our request, and they were able to get our room open after another 30 minutes, then they left and said that someone else will be back to finish their "patch job" the next day, at roughly 8am, someone came to fix our 'safe' we let them know it was actually the door that had broken, we never saw them again, I would not recommend being here at all, we stayed for 3 weeks, and had about 5/6 different issues that we never got resolved, not really what you need for a ten grand once in a lifetime holiday :(
I stayed there for the weekend. And it has changed alot. They now have a arcade and behind the arcade drafts is there. Then next to drafts here is a icecream shop and krispy kreme. Then a grocery/gift shop store with a pizza joint in the back.
I was just there in July we were also looking at the different Westgate and I took pictures of the arcade and it’s huge with different games even the store next to it. It was awesome.
I’m so glad you showed this resort because my husband wants to stay there next year for a couple of nights before we check into Hard Rock for HHN. I was on the fence about it but now I’m thinking yes
We used to have a time share at Westgate Resorts and we really loved it we had 2 floating weeks and could take them togeather or separate at any Westgate Resort any time of year we sold ours after I could not travel much. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the room tour and traveling vlogs. Its so hard to find vids that tour the hotel and the rooms so having a youtuber I like doing them is awesome! Like for our next trip to Orlando we are finally going to be visiting Universal and your vids helped a ton when choosing a resort to stay at ^_^ ( Decided on the Hard Rock)

7:14 That’s the same playground where my sisters and I stayed in for an hour when we locked ourselves out of the room and we had to wait until our parents got back from the lobby
As a west gate owner, don’t go grocery shopping at the market place, they inflate all their prices. It’s cheaper to just take an uber (if you don’t have a car) to the store to do your shopping.
Btw I went there last summer and its amazing. As a 14 yr old from Texas me and my family would say its a very good place for the family. We have timeshare there and I appreciate y'all going there. Thx. + its close to Disney and universal!
