What I did when I was pulling stumps is bought a winch mounted on the front then just sit in the truck and pull them out. This was in Florida with pine trees and they have deep tap roots. Go Brian doing great there.

Hi Brian,Yes those 660 cc 4WD are favored by farmers here in Japan.They are really work carabaos or horses.The good thing it work as it's supposed to be is you got the right tires for it.I use to drive a big Isuzu 4w.I found out that it don't make sense driving a big truck when you don't really need a big one,,I switched to Suzuki 660 4wd Jimny ..If you ever need a hard to get parts on your Suzuki,tell me I'll hook you up..I'm also a subscriber of Terence, I'm planning to visit Bohol by the end of this year,arigato Dennis here from Okinawa,Japan

Hello Brian Just don't let anybody but you and Maricel drive it, and with hand on maintenance, it will last for a long time! Best regards/ Ned!
@joerex2612
@joerex2612 5 лет назад
You need to balance the front wheels at least , to totally eliminate the wiggle at certain speeds. Changing the joints could eliminate them but the unbalanced wheels can damaged them much quicker than normal.

@johnthomas5806

the shimmy from the wheels could of been something as simple mud/dirt buildup on inside of wheel rims. this will throw balance off wheels and shimmy happens...maintenance shops like this as they only need to clean the mud out and charge you repair fees...

Brian, at 57, you are starting over. I think you are a bit optimistic. I admire your work ethic. I believe that if you can make a million pesos a year, you will be living well in the islands of paradise. What was the cost of your multi-cab? I would like to start a piggery with about a dozen sows. Or about one third of what you plan. God bless.

Brian watch on youtube about magnets in fuel lines. This would help your engine efficiency. Magnetic field will ionize the fuel electrons to maximize combustion. Same with the air intake would be ionize the protons. If you can save 10 - 20% of your fuel the better especially if you are using the car more often

that is a very very useful piece of equipment , I've been drooling to get an F150 Ford pick up truck which cost $ 60,000 Cad. but the cost to me is not so practical so I would settle for $ 3000 pick up truck when I get there in the Philippines :-))...and wow ! your cost to replace the ball joints is 1000 pesos ? I replaced the control arm and ball Joints of my car here in Canada and I paid the equivalent of 50,000 pesos for labor and parts :-((
@aforeignerfarminginthephil3374
Yes. The ball joints were 600 peso for the pair...400 for labor...tip included

Could you expect it to do 400,000 kilometers i think not thats what you'd get out of a 4 cylinder engine if not more. There renowned for over heating . But admittedly their cheap.
@aforeignerfarminginthephil3374
They are actually a 3 cylinder and yes, will overheat if there is not enough water in the radiator. .like any engine. The problem is that they are all sold with just water in the radiator and no coolant. If you are the type of driver that never checks anything under the hood you will definitely have a problem sooner or later..
@Frankmartin1948
@Frankmartin1948 6 лет назад
@@aforeignerfarminginthephil3374 that may be so but there should be no loss of water in the radiator my vehicle is 16 years old an ive never topped it up but i have changed the water an added coolant fluid. The additive is in there to stop corrosion an raise the boiling point. If a vehicle is using water it's usually from getting too hot all the time an cos the motor is so small its allways working hard with bad air flow around the motor then you are allways going to have overheating problems.

A Foreigner Farming in the Philippines that's my favorite truck. Make sure it has the heavy suspension, the light ones are as bad as the Kia. The heavy one has tough Axel's and hubs. Ours was just over 5000 dollars. Of course that was two years ago. Haven't got it stuck yet, even hauling over loads of gravel from riverbed.
