Obviously it doesn't matter to you that, apart from the deaths of many thousands of cows, even some which are heavily pregnant, hedgehogs, bumblebees & multiple types of ground nesting birds are being killed to feed what ignorant people believe is cute & cuddly. Maybe one day there will be another way, but until then the badger numbers must be controlled - not wiped out, CONTROLLED. The creatures they kill are of far greater value to nature than badgers.
May is a guitarist NOT an expert on wildlife! If I want expert advice about wildlife I speak to those who have worked the land for generations. Would you consult a hospital visitor if you had cancer? Culling HAS made a significant reduction to TB cases in the areas in which it's been tried. So I think it works, but the fact that badgers kill hedgehogs, bumblebees & ground nesting birds is sufficient reason to p me for badger numbers to be reduced, as they're more valuable than badgers.
