I hope Katie will be restored one day. Use to climb into her cab at the garden centre and I only just remembered her again recently when my grandad reminded me, so seeing her again yesterday at Cheddleton after over a decade was like reuniting with an old friend 🥺
Hi Simon, the best thing we did was the stunning walk. We don't see one other person in the hour it took. I wouldn't do it on a rainy day though as I imagine it would get extremely muddy. Cheers Rick
Hello, looked like a great train ride. Great to see the Class 25 locomotive. New supporter and look forward to following your channel. Hope to keep in touch. 👋
What a beautiful video. Thanks for sharing your wonderful day with us all. That is a great sight and wonderful day out. Love the coaches. Will have to watch again to see if I can read some of the coach numbers to see if they match up with my models. Lol . True train spotting time. Cheers Pauline and Rick. Magic.
Hi Paul, it's a railway we have been meaning to visit for a few years, it's a lovely visit if only for the scenery. It was a gin and trains day when we visited and they even had an Elvis impersonator on! Good luck with the coach numbers! All the best Rick ☮️🚂😀
If it wasn't for that more modern traction you could almost hear Jack Skinner calling for Wilfred to clean the brasses in the gents while Parkin was making advances again in the buffet room. That line looks amazing. Lucky you ,thanks for the report 😄😄😄
Thank you for this lovely video. It really brightened my mood on this rainy October morning to see such colours, beauty and transport of delight with this treasured railway.
It really is a fab railway and the weather was perfect. What makes it even better is that there are things to see and do at the stops. The walk is very nice but I wouldn't like it on a cold and wet day. Thanks very much for watching and commenting. All the best Rick
It's a very nice line in a lovely area. My knowledge of 33s is not the best to be honest. We never got them on the railways I grew up near and I saw very little of them. Cheers for watching Rick ☮️🚂😀

We won't be able to make Elsecar this time as we are on holiday which is a shame as it is our favourite toy fair. Unsure on Doncaster but we will let you know via the community page. Cheers Rick ☮️🚂😀
