Hello this is Joseph. I'm the gentleman that you saw at the Dodger game I do want to clarify something I'm not a security guard. I am guest services I help the fans to fined their seats and answer any questions they have about the team and about the stadium . The totals for that game. For the Washington Nationals 2 runs on 6 hits and 0 errors. For your Los Angeles Dodgers 6 runs on 13 hits and 0 errors

If you ever return to California, the road along the entire coast is stunning along with the coastal redwoods and in the interior, the high Sierras such as Yosemite and Sequoia-Kings Canyon national parks!
@krazycatz
@krazycatz Месяц назад
Yes! Even though I live in Los Angeles I know that there are some beautiful breathtaking scenery between the major cities. If it’s still operating I would recommend taking the Amtrak scenic tour train. I can’t remember exactly where it runs (I’m going on memory) but I think it runs from San Diego along the coastline up to a city in Washington state. This way everyone who is on the trip can enjoy looking at the beautiful scenery rather than having one person miss everything because they had to concentrate on the driving. If for some reason you needed to return back to a city in California I believe that Amtrak also has an inland train trip you could go on.
@runrafarunthebestintheworld
@runrafarunthebestintheworld Месяц назад
@@krazycatzyeah the Amtrak just recently began full service routes again. They had to do repair work on the tracks because of bluff collapse but it may be an underground train in the future.
@krazycatz
@krazycatz Месяц назад
I can understand if it’s an underground train in some areas for safety reasons such as ground erosion, but I would hate for the entire coastal train trip to be underground. Although I think it would be breathtaking from a human standpoint I’m against building any type of train system that travels underwater that allows people on board the train to look out the train windows and the windows of the tunnel they’re traveling through and see the various fish and other marine life swimming around in the ocean off the coastline.

Don’t burden yourselves with trying to see all the big things in any one state, choose the ones that interest YOU the most and enjoy those experiences. I live in southern Oregon and have been to Los Angeles over 75 times. Each trip I try to take a different route on my motorbike so I see new things/places. As long as our son lives in LA, I’ll keep seeing new things/places there. Even living here I won’t see all of them, so take the time to plan your trips, wherever they may be, and base them around YOUR interests. So glad you had a wonderful trip, I love hearing people’s reactions to seeing our beautiful country, but I am a little partial.

Santa Barbara is beautiful. They have somehow taken LA, made it pretty, put it on the coast and kept the small town feel to it. I love stopping there when I can. Hearst Castle, DEFINATELY a must see if ever in the region. It will blow your mind what they built and WHERE they built it at. Great suggestions. They'd not only get to see two wonderful places, but right up the Hwy is SeaLion beach and HOURS of the coastal highway. How could you go wrong?

Downtown LA also has some truly great neighborhoods to visit like Chinatown and Little Tokyo. The downtown LA Library is also fun along with a trip to LA's downtown Central Market for some good food. The Arts district is also really fun for food and art galleries. Alvera street is also fun for Mexican culture and souvenirs along with LA's downtown Grand Central Station for the incredible architecture.

You have done two trips to the US covering high population density areas, next time you should do a roadtrip through a low population density part of the US. Maybe fly into Denver and drive through Wyoming, across to South Dakota see Devils Tower, Mount Rushmore, the Black Hills, Badlands National Park, Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park, etc. Do a Rodeo in Wyoming, maybe an excursion just west of Denver and see some of the Ski resort towns, Rock Mountain National Park, etc. (Denver to Devils Tower is a 6 hour drive)

I've been to California once (from New England). We did northern California, San Francisco and north. I'm the type of person who can enjoy man-made things, but what I really get off on is how the land itself is different. We drove north on the Pacific Coast Highway which was beautiful (glad I didn't have to drive so I could act like a kid and just look at everything). The best though were the Sequoia trees and forests in the north of the state. So glad Archie stayed happy for the whole trip.

Welcome home! I hope that you can return soon! I love your videos of each adventure. There is a great show (it used to broadcast on PBS in America) called "GLOBE TREKKER." It was a show that documented different amateur travelers in various countries using relatively little money (usually staying in hostels). In fact, Bradley Cooper (the actor) got his start on that show. Sometimes, they had a Scottish person traveling through America. Once, it was an American traveling through the UK. Another episode had a German traveling through parts of Africa. There was a Norwegian traveling through Italy. It was a fantastic show! I'm excited about this because "The Beesleys" now remind me of why I loved that show! It was very honest and kind of low-key. It was essentially the traveler and a single camera-sound person.

I've lived in Massachusetts, Texas, Montana, Utah, and Louisiana, worked in DC, visited every state except Minnesota and Hawaii, and I feel I've seen only a tiny fraction of what there is to see in this country. I feel like I hardly know my home state, Texas. But after ten years of living in Germany and Russia, I hardly know Europe, either. The world is huge. We only ever know little bits of it. My favorite little bits in the U.S. are national parks: Arches, Zion, Bryce Canyon (all in Utah), the Grand Canyon (AZ), Mesa Verde (CO), Redwoods (CA), Denali and Kenai Fjords (AK), and so many others. I think the region of southern Utah, northern Arizona, northern New Mexico and southwest Colorado is my favorite part of this country. So much beauty, so much to do and see, such good food. Of course, you can't go wrong hanging out in New Orleans for food and music, or exploring the beaches and seafood on Cape Cod and the museums in Boston, or spending days in the museums of the Smithsonian and the other national historical sites in DC, Virginia, Maryland, and southern Pennsylvania. And again, so much good food! And for a real blast of Americana, go to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and nearby Dollywood and the Great Smoky Mountains. People in Florida are pretty nice when they aren't doing things like seeing how many live alligators they can stuff in the back seat of a car (Google "Florida man"), and the Everglades and the Florida Keys are spectacular.

I would suggest a trip to the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana). Fly into San Francisco and drive north through the redwoods on into Oregon and then do the Oregon coast which is SPECTACULAR!!! Then continue north towards Seattle. Drive east and watch the change in weather and terrain! Continue on to Idaho and go to Glacier National Park in Montana. Then head south towards Yellowstone National Park. It will give you a good idea of the differences in the US West from the LA area. San Francisco and Boston are the most "European" cities in the US - they're both walkable (though with the hills in San Francisco, you'd best be in good walking shape!!). I look forward to watching more of your adventures from your trip!

Next time you guys are in Texas, I'd love to drive you guys around Houston. NASA is one of the places y'all should visit. Mission control at the Johnson Space center. You guys were only 3 hours away from there when y'all were in Austin. I grew up in Houston but now live just outside of Austin.

You guys absolutely have to go to Florida the next time you go 🐊 ☀️ Best beaches and theme parks in the U.S. as well as thousands of beautiful sights and nature parks. Just watch out for the I-4 interstate if you’re driving 😬

I’ve lived my life in the US and still have many places to visit. I’m glad you had fun. I’m sure you’ll find more places to explore. Archie is a cutie. He’s growing so fast.
