Oakland Boogaloo Conservatory brings you The Black Messengers.
Charles Powell started dancing in 1971. Two time winners of the Gong Show, multiple appearances since the early 70’s.He is an active pioneer of true Boogaloo out of Oakland California.
Charles "Chuck" Powell and the legendary group, The Black Messengers, have inspired many groups in the boogaloo art of dance.

Charlie Chaplin...everyone flipped his style and took it to another level....you have to give props to the ones before you my family lamont jackson gave john Carlos fits running track at times but he watched peyton george when he was a kid and looked up to him

Wondering why they didnt talk about Charles Washington original robot of the Campbellockers he's from Chicago. He appeared on Carol Burnette show. Aug 1973 with them. He was robotting in the 60's he had a group called "The robot brothers" then 67 not the 3 that appeared in late 70s.
