I'm actually glad people don't complain about the animations and things poking out. The developers already stated that they didn't want the animation to be fluid to be compared to Pixar and the world and mechanics of the game already looks complicated enough.
@@wc5502 There are also times in both games where the characters will clip through themselves or their surroundings. This happens a lot with long flowy clothes like the hunter's, but it happens elsewhere as well. It's usually nothing glaring, but once you do notice it, it's hard to ignore. That being said, though, it's really nothing to be upset over. The animations are very good considering the complexity of what it is that's being animated, and I'd rather have slight imperfections in the way a character moves than a bunch of artists and developers straining themselves to perfect details that ultimately don't matter all that much. Like OP said, the jerky, imperfect animation adds a lot to the vibe of the whole game, and trying to "perfect" those thing result in a lot of the charm being lost.
@@wc5502 The only reasonable complaint would be anything about the Thin Man but that's already established in-game as he's a reality warper, so any janky movements from him is in-character.
I’m confused about the TVs and why people are killing themselves and why there are clothes that look like they’re doing things that people would be doing (like the person hanging who is actually just clothes, or the suit and hat sitting on the bench outside)
There is a secret achievement t if you where the postman hat open a suitcase with a package inside it and give it to the mailbox where a hand will pop through it and take the present so there is someone behind unless it's just a hand animation
there's actually a glitch where if you jump over the teacher's neck in the vents you can avoid dying and go back down into the vent where everything has the same hitbox except you cant go back into the piano room, but everything freezes after you jump and if you try to leave the vents and grab sixs hand it will automatically kill you since you toughed her head, I didn't figure all this out but someone on the LN subreddit did
Some long neck - could feed six for weeks. She Shoots- Scores, Nothing but Neck. Glad you did something like this. I have noticed many of these but never compiled them into a video. More hours wasted trying to figure CE out. I guess I will wait.. It is too late for me anyway
I love how they use the lighting of the scene to save on the quality of models and animation. You'd never see Mono's hand clipping through the corners when he climbs or how his and Six's hands don't connect that well. I wonder how much they saved on processing by using this 😊

This is also helpful for the future (edit: "WANNABE")gaming devs. That it only matters if it's on the player's point of view. Cause it will decrease the time that you'll spend

"Look at this cutie" Honestly I do find the Teacher quite adorable. It's mostly her eyes and how bird-like she is. She kinda reminds me of Mrs. Fowl from Jimmy Neutron.
This type of stuff is honestly so cool! It’s so interesting to see what they make and what they don’t make even out of view of a normal gameplay. Games, specifically ones where you in a normally forced position is very interesting to see whats going on outside of your normal view even if it looks a little weird. Very cool!

The Thin Man coming out of the TVs ingame: Terrifying and anxiety-inducing, graceful and dignified. Thin Man exiting from literally any other angle: Looks like he's shoving himself through a toddler-sized dollhouse window and giving himself permanent back pain in the process. I love him even more.

Been waiting for this since beating the game last month! T-Posing long neck Teacher is the funniest shit. Seeing what the Doctor was doing behind the sheet didn't exactly make it any clearer what the heck he was trying to do lol. I was incredibly curious how they did the transition from the final Thin Man encounter to the Transmission area, they just squished it all! And dang didn't notice the painting depiction of Six eating the Gnome despite noticing the briefcase and girl in white painting, nice. Also nice that you showed how the final Signal goop section works, I'm sure speedrunners have been going slightly mad on how to spawn the dang chair for time better lol. Now I want the full collection of all the painting textures.
There is only one teacher model- they just play different animations since moving the teacher neck vent model to the other vent to play the look around anim would be too much of a hassle
I always thought that the kid doing the chalk drawings with the dunce hat on is meant to be a metaphor of Mono when he’s in the tower and becomes the thin man. The rope represents how the thin man/mono gets close to catching young Mono and breaking the cycle but gets pulled back and fails.
This is my theory for why the thin man is so glitchy because after you finish the whole game you decide to glitch and mess with it.... maybe? Not a very smart theory
I predict that the feint 6 on the door of the hallway was the Thin Man trying to warn Mono about the inevitable betrayal that Six was going to do to Mono. After all, the Thin Man’s goal is to prevent Mono from getting betrayed.
That just made me think of something, since she’s hitting herself and smiling, maybe she enjoys punishing the children? This could also tie into p3dophilia if she gets any sexual pleasure from it. It’s weird but I wouldn’t put it out of the ln universe..
