Hi Hayley! Amazing channel, binge watching a lot of your videos right now. I must ask, do you have any videos or advice on specialisations within the police? I've spoken to a lot of ex-police officers and unfortunately most of them have given pretty bad reviews of their time in the service, especially referring to just regular policing being not what it's cut out to be, but I wonder if there's any special units like K9 or road policing in which this might be better? I also have the same question about police services. I'm not sure on which one to join, and I've heard they can be pretty different. All-in-all I just want to make sure I prepare myself for the best entry into the service possible and don't make any mistakes.

1996 I was 15 and had Rollerboot, now at 42 still do have rollerboots and maily skate on the road arround the village however currently I also have an ankle injury and crutches, (I dropped a Rod of Iron on it) So the PND can be issued to persons over the age of 18 but if caught drinking in a bar under the age of 18 then you can get a PND. Maybe I'm stunned from how pretty your selfie was on the bike ride but it's not right. What is right is to congradulate you on motherhood with the grace and as a glory to God my your family unit be stronger than any rock (weath chucked at a train or not) with love between you all bigger than a rainbow with more of a rich feeling than any pot of gold could ever give. Cheers for the insights and hey today is my second sons mums birthday and the rainbow and pot of gold thing was inspired by her love for our son this morning when I messaged her. Non the less equally from the heart from your heavenly brother Charles Andrew Oyedele Ososami. For the Peace of God. 1

Hi I’ve got a question please answer . So the age of consent in the uk is 16 right . But does that mean example a 25 or 30 year old can have intercourse with that 16 year old & if so isn’t that morally Wrong ? They are not adults and still considered a minor ?

Hello, yes the age of consent is 16 and in relation to some legislation people are minors under the age of 18. Morally wrong depends on people's morals I suppose, Personally speaking (not for any other agency) I think 16 is too young

Hi again Hayley. I commented on one of your videos which is "Domestic Abuse - DARA risk assessment", but I couldn't find my comment there any more!! I don't know why It disappeared all of a sudden as though it was deleted!! Anyways, I'll paste it here again, and, hopefully, I get a responce. Thanks Hayley. ========= Hi Hayley. Your lively vivacious manner of explaining such a crucial issue makes your video jaunty. I'm doing my master's degree now, and I'm about to get it by the end of next June. I'm working on a law thesis about burden of proof in a domestic violence case, in which I tackle different types of evidences used in domestic violence allegations/assault cases/offences. I am wondering about the domestic assault laws in UK and how to prove emotional abuse in particular, or intimidation by an intimate partner, family member, or household member. I also wonder about how objective the statements made by the victim against the abuser which the prosecutors rely on! If police officers and prosecutors rely on it, then what if the statement of the victim is based on frivolous, vexatious, or malicious complaints?! A section in my thesis will be reserved to assessment risk tools such as DARA assessment that rivalled the DASH tool. And, also, the Thames Valley Police version of the DASH risk checklist is known as the DOM5 which I have the form (I can share it with you). By the way, he link to download the DARA assessment tool is not working. library.college.police.uk/docs/college-of-policing/Domestic-Abuse-Risk-Assessment-Rationale-2022.pdf (Can you share it with me?) I really need some assistance with completing my thesis. I just have some questions about UK laws, regulations, and police techniques to assess DV assault cases. I really wish you can help me out as I am not aware of your country's laws and regulations related to DV. Mt thesis is a comparative study too, I chose UK, France, US, Canada and other countries to represent the common law. civil law and religious law systems. My name is Redwan, from Morocco. Thanks in advance.

Hi Hayley…can you do a video on the proper conduct of police interview. What you can and cant refer to generally and in terms of bad character, hearsay, etc. S.49 RIPA notices, procedures and on how to go from the notice to a court order. Or is that beyond your remit? No rest for the wicked!
